Southern Wave Snorkeling Adventures SCAM ON TOURIST SCAM, threaten, charges false, attacks tourist South Padre Island, Texas

Look....We have a woman who damaged property. 45 people on the dock witnessed it, multiple video cameras recorded it. You haven't addressed the damage in your statement so are you saying you didn't cause the damage or are you disputing the amount. In any case, trying to bully us by defaming us won't work... but if you can't afford the 350.00, let me know and we'll work something out.

The people they claim said "women drivers" was their own employed handy man for the fireworks boat crew. YES they told me 30 mimutes or I will be charged. YES they said watch your left leg for splinters because of a nick or damage..." YES I turned the machine off because I was verbally abused by the same man who originally rented the jet ski at $75.00 for 30 minutes.. I was also threatened by the SOUTHERN WAVE team 2 hours later in Laguna Bobs that if we were going to dispute the actions that we would be under arrest! BTW NO ONE IS ARRESTED FOR A CREDIT CARD DISPUTE. We paid the $75.00 and the $21.00 charges for the rentals we enjoyed. The scam here will not prevail. I have and will on every radio show of mine let people know the scam you people try to do to unsuspecting tourist! BTW Did you think sending the guy to threatened us would really stop us from reporting you?

SOUTHERN WAVE IS A SCAM COMPANY AND YES WE HAVE 2 OF THE FOUR COUPLES READY TO REPORT YOU.

The claim against Southern Wave is somewhat accurate but missing a few minor details. Here are a few corrections or omissions.

Our trip was 7/8-7-14 of 2013. We had a beautiful vacation up until we were scammed by the people of Southern Wave rentals. To begin we rented a paddle boat for 21.00 and enjoyed it. Then I decided I wanted to Jet Sji for 30 minutes and the price was $75.00. This is unusal but they said they were closing soon and I thought I was given a break. Well as I boarded the JET SKI I was told to watch my leg for the nick on the boat and to be back in 30 minutes and if I was not we would be automatically charged another $75.00.  

We don't charge people for extra time. We have spotters on the water to let them know when it's time to come in.

Well they did not know I had a water proof watch and returned in 28 minutes. I pulled in and was verbally assaulted by the same "nice" guy who said. "I F%$# told you I would come get you!"

I don't know if the expletive was used but our dock man did raise his voice when the woman crashed her jet ski into two others on the dock. The 350.00 was the charge for the damage caused.

BTW he never said that. I turned the jet ski off immediately and heard his friend state "Women Drivers"... I was amazed...

We don't know who shouted "Woman Driver" There we 45 spectators on the dock witnessing the entire event including the collision.

As he pulled me in he then said.. " You wrecked my machine and owe me $350.00 and will not get your C/C back until you sign.

As per our contracts, you cause damage, you pay for the repairs, hence the 350.00. We don't keep their credit cars, we give them the option, pay for the damage or we'll file a police report and let the insurance company take care of it.

We signed knowing we could dispute the charge. Two bartenders and one waitress told us they do this to tourist (women) all the time and told us to fight it. 2 hours later while watching the fireworks on the island we were approached by a Hispanic male that said... "I heard your going to disoute the charges and if you do we will place in you jail right now."

We really don't have a comment for that.

UNREAL they have shown who they are. I also have testimony of 4 other couples this company has done this to. 

I would like to meet those other couples.

THE ISLAND IS BEAUTIFUL BUT STAY AWAY FROM SOUTHERN WAVES TO THE LEFT OF LAGUNA BOBS AND THE RIGHT OF LOUIES BACKYARD, THEY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF HUNDREDS.
