Soutwest truck driver training has hired a collections agency to collect funds after they setteled the account as paid in full

in 2009.During the recession 2008-9 i was not working and fell behind in my payments  almos t10 months and they were

ready to pull my cdl for non payment unless i paid the account  balance at that time .

i contacted the collections agency and set up a meeting an the collector and setteled for a pay off amount in june of 2008.I think things would have got

ugly and i needed the license so i borrowed the money on a hi interest loan and closed the account back then. Now 4 years later i get a letter saying the

account is in default and i owe them more than what the account was settled for.i went to school in 2005 and payments were made by my

employers when i worked as a driver.now 2013 and suddenly they want a payment of the additional balance. beware of hungry student loan

collection agencys working with driving schools.i paid them in 2008 to close the account now 5 years later they are

threatning me with pulling my cdl.Its a loan i paid off i owe them nothing.that is bs.

the driving industry is full of crooks and thieves and the money is not in driving its in brokering the loads.its impossible to

get ahead as a company driver becuase there is mor in place to default you than people trying to help drivers.Me obtaining a

cdl to drive a service truck was the worst career choice i have ever made.i averaged 15 to 20k a year and they had me 24-7

working 14hr days or days not working sitting in an empty truck waiting on a load.
