Southwestern Vocational Training DONT GO TO THE SCHOOL Bonita Springs Florida

I went to SVT in Janurary 2014 and it was the biggest mistake of my life. I went to that school for Phlebotomy and CNA combined and walking into that classroom the first day i was discusted. They had dust all over the window sill there was clotted blood vials still left on the tables from the class before and the biohazard boxes were never emptied or replaced. We never had any supplies, our books arrived a week, adn we were always promised or told things and they never came through.  With my husband being in the military they told me the day i signed up that my classes would be paid for through them so i signed up. Half way thru the course I was told that they wouldnt so I asked how much money I would get back if I were to drop out since i was guarenteed that the military was going to pay for it. They told me that it wouldnt be worth it, but they never gave me an exact amount and they told me that they wouldnt refund me the whole amount even though i was lied to. So then 2 days before graduation they told me if i didnt pay them up front that day that i was not going to get my certificate. Not only that i paid to take my national exam and a few days before that the school kicked me out of the class because i turned them into the Board of Eduation. They are not there to help you they are there to take your money that is it. I have now got a job at a hospital for phlebotomy and the only thing that I have put to use is the order of draw for the blood. They dont teach you anything at that school it is a waste of time and money. I dont recommend it to anyone. With doing evasive procedures you would think that the place would get cleaned either before we arrived or during but no we as the students actually took out the trash and cleaned the place. Im shocked no one got any type of infection with how nasty the place was kept.
