Now I'm not trying to pick a fight here, but when I read complaints like these I try and see both sides. Now obviously I have not shelled out $$$$ money for a website or anything but I have been in the telemarketing industry for almost 15 years. 1st you stated that you called off the T.V. show to spend $25.00. I called and the first thing the represenative told me is that the call would be recorded. They explained the program using a script ( I could tell they were reading) They talked about two memberships 1 was a payment plan and the other paying it all up front for a discout. On the payments they were upfront. They said "24.95 + $15.00 for shipping and handling then starting 30 days later I would have 11 monthly payments of $39.95." Now this is all before they asked for my payment information. Obviously I did not give that to them and asked them to send the free information that they talk about on the show. The rep tried to talk me into doing about 3 or 4 times after that but I insisted. I got the info about two days ago and it is exactly as the explained. So here is my suggestion Dan. One because they are selling this over the phone I have no doubt that all the calls are recorded. Two if the rep did not go over the payments with you atleast twice "this is necessary for a verbal contract to hold up in court" then you might have some legal recourse or if they did go over everything then you would be liable for the payments just like on any installment contract.
