I ordered cosmetics online with Spectrum. I paid through PayPal and it was assigned an order number, transaction ID number and a USPS tracking number. It's a small business and it states under the terms and conditions that delivery could take between 2-12 days depending on holidays, promotions it can take a little longer. I placed the order at the end of November.

December 12 I received an email that the products were shipped. I checked the status using the tracking number given. According to the USPS they electronically were notified to expect a shipment. On December 20 I received an email that the order was now completed. I checked the USPS website again and there was only the electronic shipping information but no tracking history.

I emailed the company to find out what happed to the package because I never received it. They emailed me back saying according to there records the package was shipped weeks ago. I replied I was emailed it was shipped but according to the USPS there is no tracking history. An electronic label was printed but that's it and I still don't have my products.

They replied they would put in a report for stolen/lost and they would credit my account. They never credited my account. I emailed them again inquiring as to the status of this issue. They replied they put it in to be reshipped but to let them know if the package shows up.

The package never showed up and I kept checking with the USPS and still there was no updated tracking history. They replied they would reship but they needed to reconfirm my address and ship it with a signature confirmation. I confirmed my address personally via email and reminded them I paid through PayPal and my address is confirmed. They replied they still needed to reconfirm in any case where the shipment has been returned.

This is the first time I'm hearing that the package had been returned since I never received it on the first place. I said fine reship after you confirm. Another week goes by and still no package. They emailed me with the flowing statement: (Changed status from Open to Closed).

I replied what does that mean? Has my address been confirmed, has the package been shipped and what is the new tracking number? If not, what is the hold up. They replied by email with and Updated Ticket Number but in the body of the email there was no content.

I replied and told them they sent me an empty email and to resend the new tracking number. They did the same thing 2 more times. I called the number listed and left my name, a callback number and they never returned my call. Everytime you call, it doesn't matter what time of the day you will get a recording and you have to leave a message.

I filed a report with my bank, the BBB, the FTC and the Attorney General for the state of California. I also submitted a report with PayPal but they said they could do nothing about it.
