Spiegel/FCNB/Card Processing Center ripoff, This company is EVIL, Anyone want to do a class action ? Old Beth Page New York

Oh My God! I only owed $200.00 when Speigel went bankrupt! I tried to call FCNB, write letters, pay at Eddie Bauer (where I almost ALWAYS paid my bill) NO LUCK! I tried for about one year to take care of the $200.00 I owed.

Then on July 3rd 2003 I received a phone call @ 7:00 am from card processing center saying that I owed over $1000.00!!! I had been charged late fees over the limit fees and finance charges up the ying yang! I made a payment by phone and because they called one day before the payment was due (July 4) and the bank was closed that day...I was cahrged a late fee. I made a few more payments but by that time I had paid more than what I had originally owed FCNB and then my statements were arriving on the date my next payment was due...FORGET IT!! I gave up paying.

The people there are the most rude people I have ever delt with! The BBB didn't do anything to help. I called the FTC and am writing letters to the credit reporting agencies. I have already fulfilled the debt I owed before FCNB dropped the ball. I wish someone would get us all together to file a class action lawsuite! I'd be there in a heartbeat! You can't get anything done by phone...there is no one you can talk to. Letters haven't helped. Some one has to stop these people.
