Re.:  Spirit RIP OFF 

To Whom It May Concern:

Please be advised that on October11th, 2012 we purchased an Open Round Trip ticket (please see attached confirmation), purchased it Open in order to have schedule datechanges, that may arise. The next day, 12th of October, we indeed made date changes, but to our surprise, realized that they made a separate additional ticket purchase. When we called to complain of this unauthorized additional purchase, and to cancel the ticket, as well; they notified me that the ticket was not purchased as an open ticket and this is the reason why they charged another fee! (please review attached tickets confirmations).

This was a negligence of their customer service agent, not ours! The proof is on the same confirmation code shown on both tickets confirmations attached. We have been trying to rectify this mistake made by Spirit unsuccessfully. I made several calls on the 15th, 16th, 20th and 23rd of October, attempting to receive our credit for the additional purchase and keep our open ticket as initially planned. Spoke to two separate supervisors, however, Spirit has Not even gotten back to us with a response, as they claimed they would within 24 hrs.
