I am sure I am not the only one that complains about Spirit. I understand you get what you pay for with them but how they make their money is being deceptive on their website. They do not use airport codes and instead of tell you directly were an airport is is located that state area of Miami as an example. I had to fly one one way from Mexico City to FLL on 6/27. I saw that Spirit had a flight from TULCA/MEXICO CITY AREA to FtLauderdale/Miami Area. I admitted my mistake to them and I should of researched it but because of their cheap air fares and I guess their lossing money will not give me a credit or anything just took my money and bag fare and also took $59.95 for their 9 program.
Try going to a different country and not speaking the language also if you do not have international cell phone service forget about calling them till you get to a land line.

Mexico/Mexico City AREA.(added by me RW: note TULCA is in Mexico State not Mexico City) It is not stated that you would be departing from Mexico City. Our route maps are also posted on our website for our customer's convenience. When a customer enterstheir credit card account number, the expiration date and security codeof that credit card, they have made a decision to do so. We further ensure that customers are making a conscience decision when booking, by requiring them to "agree" to the terms and conditions prior to completing the process. reservations are booked as non-refundable and non-transferable.If the customer does not call
ahead of time, does not show up for the flight, or does not board the aircraft for any reason, the flight is automatically canceled in the system and all remaining segments on the itinerary are automatically canceled.

So, I get on the new flight I re-booked and was packed and was late 20 mins. Then because the flight was full you could not move if you had a problem. THeir was a kid kick the back of my chair the whole way back to Ft Lauderdale. Also how they get you are bag fees, you pay for soda $ food now, and you can pay for a seat you select and if you select a seat and not upgrade you end up get that seat any way.
The thing I do not get I understand you get what you pay for but because the flight is cheap the customer service has to be horrible too?
So, be care full if you have not flown Spirit Air you have been advised.
