**IF you Question the following review of this company i urge you to contact your local police department and ask them to run a check on this organization and check with the BBB before investing .  Trusting anyone online who ask for money upfront is a dangerous game and people will take advantage of you.**

My brother and his girlfriend applied on this website thinking it was a legit way to get sponsored. She received a called back around 11:30am earlier today and was told that she was chosen to get sponsored. He didn't know what kind of car she had applied to have sponsored(it was actually a truck) and told her they picked her because of the fact she is a girl and its rare for a female to apply. (Most likely it was because she is only 18 and they assumed it was an easy target)

The man asked her information regarding if she would be interested and she said yes. He never asked for ID or any type, insurance info or even proof of ownship for this car...

He concluded letting her know that she would need to pay $199.00 before 12 noon to secure her and my brothers spot. She said she didnt have it in her bank account but she had cash and he actually googled to find a local post office and told her to go send a money order.

At the point i began googling of my own. This company has an F with the BBB and has SEVERAL complaints against them on many forums online. People pay the money and then never hear from them again.

i informed her it was a scam and that my best advice was to call and let the gentleman (who to that point had been rather friendly with her) know that she was not interested. When she called back he informed her he was going to file charges against her for entering a verbal contract over the phone and then backing out and that the phone conversation had been recorded. I began recording the phone conversation at that point so i had something for the police report i planned to file later. I have a recording (Sent to the ELKIN, NC police department) where he threatens  "Tell emily she will know just how legitimate our business is in the morning" The entire recording she is nothing more than kind "Yes sir, no sir" and apologetic. This man became VERY hostile with her over the phone. He made threats  as a scare tactic attempt to have her follow through with sending the money order.  At one point in the conversation he says "You don't want a lawsuit, do you?"

One of The previously mentioned sites that are out there regarding this  "business"  http://stancestories.com/2012/05/24/news-exposing-the-scammers-at-sponsoredwhips-com/

Also we have family in this area in Delaware and there is no office at this address listed.

"-Fully staffed at:
2427 C Kirkwood HWY
Wilm, DE 19805  "

The review where the gentleman gets "refunded" may be legit but according the police department this scammer is a repeat offender and NOT to be trusted. Do not trust my writing, call the police department in delware and ask them about the facts!

Also if you just look at the material they present to you on their site you'll easily be able to identify this scam. The website and facebook page are overrun with pictures of high end performance cars. People who can afford cars like that don't need sponsors. There are no before and after pictures and actually lots of those pictures are being used without the knowledge of the car owner and actual sponsors.

To the owner or customer service rep at Sponsormywhips.com, Make any arguement you want against my allegations here today, call me a liar if you want but the police departments have facts on your company and the BBB aswell.
