Sport Waffen K9 Breeder: Nate Harves, Trainer: Lorna Thomas CANT GET MONEY BACK :Unethical Breeder "claimed" my dog to be a TRAINED "Working GSD" that isnt even house broken or crate trained as promised!!! I payed $3000 and got NO Registation, NO Vet Records, Amboy, Indiana

 After owning my second German Shepherd which held the Highest Tittle available for GSDs (Schutzhund III) and lost him due to old age, so being an Avid GSD lover and owner I began surfing the internet for a Working line, Obedience Trained German Shepherd that I could Use for training in protection work and also be proud enough of to join my local Schutzhund club. I unfortunately found Sport Waffen K9 and began talking with the Breeder (Nate Harves) about exactly what I was looking for in a GSD. I told him Verbatim that I am a single working mom and needed a High Quality Protection Dog From Good lines that I could depend on. He bragged that he had just the dog for me that I could count on without a doubt to protect my young daughter and I and  he would sell her to me for a good price since she was on the smaller side and didn't want to breed her so he would let such a "great" dog go for a whopping $3000 with shipping and i was getting a deal since he could actually sell her for at least $4000 as a green Narc dog....which is now absolutely absurd to say the least since the fact is that she is Not even house broken!!

 I still have the texts saying that she was supposedly alll these great things that I now know are NOT true....I was told she was crate trained, She is NOT; In fact when I took her to the Vet this morning the Vet Techs made the comment that "she must not be crate trained because she smelled like urine", despite getting a thorough bath last night in our tub which she surprisingly enjoyed!....But anyways, I was also told that she had obedience training and was close to being at a level one but i would have to finish her but not much ....she does NOT have obedience training!! the ONLY thing she knows is "sit", IF I bribe her with a treat. I was told that she was seen EVERY week by a full Schutzhund club...???... now that I own the dog Im thinking * DOO WHAAT??!!** "I" would be embarrassed to show up with such a disobedient, WILD GSD that ONLY knows rag play!!

 Nate also told me that he and Lorna Both PERSONALLY did all of this SUPPOSED training with her " Day in and day out"......

 Another thing is that before I was able to have Shiva Shipped to me, Nate had me pay the WHOLE amount up  front with only having seen pictures, made me wait until my credit card cleared and only THEN he would and did ship her...I thought this process to be unusual as Most Ethical Breeders will only charge half up front or even just a deposit.... BUT, He's a cop so I trusted that everything he TOLD me would be true.

 Shiva is SUPPOSEDLY from THE BEST import lines but Ill NEVER know since he never sent her registration papers attached to her crate like he was supposed to!! She came to me with NOTHING!!! No registration papers, No Vaccination papers of her medical history, No OFA preliminary Report to ensure her hips and elbows ( which is VERY important for this particular Breed), No Bill of Sale!!! NOTHING!!! Just a VEREERRY SKINNY dog( which i have a video of taken the day I received her from Sport Waffen K9 Kennels.I  Honestly cant say she is even full blood with no papers of any sort ( therefore ill never be able to breed her as he KNEW I had planned)... despite sending my fax # numerous times, he has Still failed to produce anything other than ONE sheet of paper today from his Vet which actually proved that she is behind on her DHLPPC according to my vet she should have had 3 by her age but the piece of paper only showed one set, so now I know why He didn't want to send them so I FINALLY got his trainer Lorna to do so.

To top ALLLL of this off, I called Nate immediately upon picking her up to ask where all of the needed info was but got no answer. Drove 3 hours with the dog back here to my home to get her settled in and to get that poor dog something to eat for Gods sakes, Her ribs were showing...VERY sad sight to see!!! I emailed him the next day since he wouldn't answer my phone calls letting him know that I was/AM dissatisfied with the dog since being home, despite putting her on a leash trying to walk her at which time she bucked around so wildly that she pulled out of her collar and took off running down the road, apparently she had not even been trained to walk on the leash which the vet techs ALSO commented on today, and let me just say that their comments were all made BEFORE they even knew my hardships with the Breeder about her.

 SO, later I FINALLY get an email from Nate in response to my factual observations and BOY was he EVER RUDE!!! I could NOT believe the way he talked to me calling me a " Moron".. (which he didn't even spell corectly) and telling me that  "I" am the problem and need to go find help with a professional because its apparent to him that I dont know what IM doing".... Ill remind you that I STILL have these emails and texts containing exactly what I am quoting from him. In that first email I reminded him that he stated to me that "Shiva is great with all other animals" But that too is in fact NOT TRUE, I told him in the email that If my cat would come down from the highest counter Im sure she would have her as a snack but instead since she cant get to the cat , Shiva barks NON stop at her like an angry wolf!!

 At this point in our emails I formally asked for my money to be returned and even offered to pay for shipping AGAIN to safely get Shiva back to him. .... His respone was " NO RETURNS" and at this point he is FAR from even TRYING to be helpful!! So my next option as I told him was to contact the AKC and Attorney General as several people advised and he told me  verbatim " First off, understand something...Im a police officer. I dont like being threatened and you and who ever else you wanna call does not intimidate me a bit. You now want to play the victim and its laughable . Youre not a victim of anything other than being born stupid. The AKC has nothing to do with this and will tell you that. You might want to sue me? Feel free. I dont care. Because youll lose and then Ill sue you for slander and libel. When may I expect your lawsuit? I dont threaten well dear"......

 In closing I would like to make clear that EVERYTHING I have put in this report is/are provable facts so much so that the Veterinarian today volunteered to formally put in writting, and did, that I should have received (Besides the kind of dog I was promised , with the kind of training I payed thousands of dollars for).. "OFA prelim report of hips and elbows, Bill of sale, Full vaccine history or rabies tag,AKC papers, Heart worm treatment prevention"..The Dr  also added at his own discussions from his OWN observations that "Shiva is NOT fully trained, NOT Kennel trained, and NOT leash trained". So here I am Stuck with a regular 'ol dog that isn't so much as house broken, that MAYBE worth 350 dollars at best, Having been Frauded out of $3000 from Nate Harves and Lorna Thomas at Sport waffen K9.

 I hope those of you out there looking for a good, ethical, reputable breeder willing to HELP NOT HURT when things aren't right, Have MUCH better luck than I did!! German Shepherd Dogs are GREAT dogs but these kinds of people ruin the integrity of the truly reputable and responsible breeders across the nation.
