SPRINGLEAF FINANCIAL is a company that puports to loan money to sub-par borrowers (B-C Credit). The fraudulently issue LOAN "PRE-APPROVALS" that indicate a person is "prequalified" for the amount in the mailer, usually around $5,000 to $6,500.  When one goes to obtain the allegedly "pre-approved" loan, they are asked to provide more than the usual amoutnt of documents for a pre-approval, and then they BAIT AND SWITCH you and let you know you are "not qualified" for an Unsecured Loan, but they will gladly switch you to a higher-yielding secured Title Loan on a vehicle if you own one.  This is pure fraud, bait and switch, and false advertising.  I asked what happend to my "alleged" preapproval, and the representative told me that the mailers, even though purporting to issue an individiual pre-approval for a specific amount and to the specific person with a pre-approval code, it is BOGUS, FRAUDULENT, and pure FALSE ADVERTISING.

After denying my "pre-approval" loan amount (and I have pretty good credit for that matter), they forced me to do it as a secured Title Loan on a vehicle I own.  Obviously, this was at a much higher rate, and less generous terms.  Then when trying to obtain the vehicle loan, based on the asset itself, they continually wanted me to bring in document after document and it took several weeks because they kept "nickle and diming" me for more and more  minor documents.  Then in the end, they informed me that they coould not loan on my BMW 740il which was in outstanding condition, and they based such on the reason that my vehicle had too much milage on it --- when it is actually under the average milage for a BMW of its age.  So all this time they completely wasted my time, lied to me, and seem to onlly be interested in cherry-picking the best loans that come their way while dredging for customers of such by issuing these very phoney false Loan Pre Approvals.

I would STAY AWAY from this dishonest and crooked company, they will only waste your time, bait and switch you, and are really only trying to fill their customer roster with AAA Rated Credit borrowers  and lye to consumers in the process to .  THIS IS A COMPANY THAT CONDUCTS FALSE ADVERTISING AND FAKE LOAN APPROVELS.

DO NOT BE VICTIM OF EITHER  FALSE ADVERTISING, BAIT AND SWITCHES, FAKE LOAN APPROVALS, OR OTHER BAD AND DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES AS THEIR TEMP, AZ COMMITTED UPON ME.
