In my personal experience and opinion; Springs Transmissions & Automotive is the most treacherous, deceitful, misleading automotive repairs shop to ever exist. Owner/Greg Ehnes, is disappointing, undendable, unreliable & lacks business ethics and customer service skills. Due to his incompetence, my Volvo had to be towed to another shop to complete the work, furthermore; the engine, transmission, belts, hoses, car battery, misc. & several automotive parts were dumped in the trunk. Oil and fluid stains filled, leaked and ruined the upholstery and leather interior of my Volvo.
All I needed was a new radiator and now it will cost me over $4000. to get my Volvo back in the road. Therefore, I have no other recourse but to file consumer complaints from Ft. Carson to the state attorney general's office, KRDO BBB and here on this website/and others. Additionally, Civil and Criminal charges have been filed against this owner and business. In closing and submitting these facts, it is my opinion and advise to ask you/the consumer to do your homework, research and Do "NOT" take your vehicle here for any service. I sued, Greg Ehnes/owner of Springs Transmissions & Automotive and WON! On January 10, 2011 in COS County Courthouse, Small Claims Court - a judgement and Verdict was placed against Mr. Ehnes and this shop. He was also additionally, found GUILTY of not complying with the Colorado Motor Repair Act/Law. Additionally, Mr. Ehnes CONFIRMED that he is not affiliated with AAMCO The case is now under investigation from the Consumer Dept. at the DA's office of our County. The State Attorney office is aware of the verdict and information/case is pending. Yipee!
PS. KRDO is not affiliated with this business as Mr. Ehnes only purchases air time. Don't fall victim to the gimmick of- Free services... it is too good to be true, it is a SCAM.
