Beware - all Sprint stores and not company owned.  I walked into the store on Temecula Parkway to upgrade my phone and the associate assured me the plan she was selling me was less expensive than the plan I currenlty had, even with the monthly lease payment on the phone.  She also assured me that if I preferred to keep my current plan and pay for the cost of the upgrade, I could do that if I came back within 14 days.

 

After spending 90 minutes in the store getting the phone set up, I went home and looked at the paperwork again, and it looked to me like I was paying twice as much for the phone as she told me I was paying.  I called and spoke to her and she again assured me that if I wanted to go back to my original plan and pay for the cost of the upgrade I could do that.

 

The next morning I looked at the details of my plan and discovered that the plan she put me on was in fact more expensive than my current plan and when I added in the additional cost of the phone payment, I would pay an additional $350 over two years.  I went back in that afternoon to do what she told me (twice) that I could do and she was immediately uncomfortable to see me.  The manager then told me that my current plan was no longer available and I would have to swich to another more expensive plan, and that I would have to bring back the device and the box and they would have to take it back and give me anothr phone.  This would obviously waste another 90 minutes while they set up a different phone.  Her delivery of this news was surly and rude - the absolute opposite of good customer service.

 

When I asked for a corporate phone number to call she rudely told me that I could call corporate but they would tell me the same thing she had just told me.  I left angry and she called out "have a good day" as though that sarcastic comment meant she did her best.  No apology for giving me the wrong information -- i.e. lying to me. No apology for the inconvcenience. Just absolutely horrible customer service to a 9 year customer.

I called corporate and at least received an apology and the promise of an investigation.  I will never set foot in that store again and recommend to anyone who doesn't want to get ripped off that they find a corporate owned store.
