People, please stop using Sprint! do you not watch TV or listen to the radio? they have been rated the worst cell phone company, based on contracts, and customer service.Look how they canceled all those customers, for their repeated complaints, what does that alone tell you? its always on the news, what garbage they have now done to customers, the only way to stop Sprint, is to stop feeding their piggy bank. There is plenty of other good providers, take the power from Sprint, by not giving them buisness.

FOUR TIMES

AUTHOR: Cory - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 27, 2009

My wife and I have been with sprint for years. We got a 2 phones for the price of 1 deal with a bunch of minutes that they've been trying to get us out of for years. TWICE they attempted to add on unauthorized upgrades. One time they tried to add on a photo package to both lines at $14.95 per month. When my wife called them and demanded to know who authorized it, they couldn't tell her, but they told her "somebody" had. The funny part was that the time and day when "somebody" had ordered the upgrade, we were out in the middle Of the Gulf Of Mexico with no cell phone service. The second upgrade was a month or two ago, when another "somebody" ordered an internet and text package for $41.95 per month. Only problem is our phones aren't internet capable. Same BS over again. The other "twice" is on the rebates. Twice they've not sent the rebates and twice I've had to threaten to sue them under the deceptive trade practice laws in Texas. They never did send the rebates, just credit the account the rebate amount. Other then that, they've been OK and we sure can't beat the package we have that they've been trying to get us out of. 4000 minutes on 2 phones for $49.

Sprint What?

AUTHOR: Jt - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 27, 2009

I have paid Sprint appx 3696$ over the past 7 years for cell phone service and have never once had a problem (44$ a month for 84 months). I've never had a problem with poor coverage, service, billing and they have good phones and plans for good prices. Sprint dropped all the customers who would routinely miss payments or get confused about their own contracts and then tie up their lines all day when they called and complained. I bet if the OP joined another company he would eventually have problems with them as well.

Still doesn't answer my question...

AUTHOR: Edgeman - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 27, 2009

The question was - Why should "I" drop Sprint? They haven't given me a reason to.

You do realize that with 49 million subscribers, 1,300 complainers is a very tiny percentage, right? By your logic, everyone should stop using Verizon because they have over 1,600 complaints.

Put in perspective

AUTHOR: Ramjet - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, April 26, 2009

I have no doubt in my mind that some people have had problems with Sprint but the legitimate complaints are no where near 1300. Also, if you search on the other phone companies, most have even more reports.

Additionally, if you consider that they have millions of customers, a few hundred complaints are a drop in the bucket.

The fact remains that we have had good luck with them and someone else's problems are irrelevant to us, just as our experience with them is irrelevant to you.

We'll make our own decisions thank you.

By the way, I'm not sure what the love of god has to do with anything.

You ask why?

AUTHOR: Burned Customer - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, April 25, 2009

Maybe the 1,300 other complaints, could give you a hint. I do not think all these other 1,300 people are kidding.

Why should I?

AUTHOR: Edgeman - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, April 25, 2009

Sprint gives me a sizable discount on my service, I get to upgrade phones every twelve months instead of every two years and their coverage in my area is better than Verizon or T-Mobile.

Sorry

AUTHOR: Ramjet - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, April 25, 2009

Sorry, but our school system has used several different cell phone companies for all our cell phones and we are now using Sprint. They have done a great job for us. We have good prices and excellent service from them.

A satisfied Sprint user!!
