I left AT@T mobile for sprint in September of 2008. The Samsung Instinct, Sprints' Iphone beater, caught my eye and I decided to get that phone with a two year contract. Within a week after starting the new contract the phone would receive OK but transmission was horrible. The TV and radio would freeze or just refuse to launch and gps just would get lost often.

I called tech support and they talked me through several different processes to help fix he phone and that didn't work. I even went to the Sprint Store and had a representative help a try to solve the problem, but that didn't work either. After trying all things to fix the phone I asked and got another one. No problem switching out the bad for the good.

After about a week or two, the same problems occurred. Again, I went on the phone and asked tech support to help. She talked me through some, but not all of the same processes that the first tech did. After I told her that this was the second phone with the same problems, she told me I could get another phone and would give me a coupon for part of the price of said new phone.

When I went to my Sprint Store they directed me to another store because they didn't have a repair department. I thought that was odd but I was willing to play along. I went to the other store and was told that what I had was not a coupon but a repair ticket. The ticket was to either repair the phone and if that couldn't be done a replacement phone(the same phone). Plus they were gonna charge me $35 for their broken phone which I only had for about 2-3 weeks.

I don't want this phone because it has a lot of issues. I also am looking at getting out of my contract that I've only been in for two months. My experience with Sprint, though a short one, has been mostly bad and I wish to end it. I've also written to the Better Business Bureau, the FCC, Consumer Protection Agency and the Attorney Generals' office.
