I chose Sprint after a long search of local plans, what a mistake! The King of Prussia office for the Philadelphia region is a joke.... I first tried to understand the pamphlet but was confused on the different plans so I went to the local SprintPCS store to get an explanation...the rep explained the plan in detail and signed me up...only to find my first bill was higher by $20 than what the rep told me it would be (I went over it 4 times, the last time with my wife present)...I called the 800 help number and they explained it completely different but suggested I go back to the rep I signed with.... I went back and he said: I am confused too and not real sure...let me ask a billing person in the office...then I was told that not only was my bill wrong it didn't include all the charges it should! I spoke with the manager and he said, yes...his rep. misrepresented the facts (and the rep admitted to it) but it won't change the outcome...even though I was told two different versions from reps. of this company, the mgr. couldn't help...he offered me $60 credit for my trouble after repeted requests to make it right (this has taken over 4 hours to this point and $60 would cover about 1/4 of the now increased costs).... I have gone back to the 800 help line and they have been of some help but my bill is still not right! The quality of the phone lines are good but the service is HORRIBLE...if you sign up and have a problem...BEWAREkeep all receipts and records.

Sprints Rips Off For Residential Service Also!!

AUTHOR: Susan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 29, 2003

Three times this year I have had to call Sprint because their Connected Solutions Plan was what I had. They kept charging me 40 cents a minute for my long distance calls. When I purchased the plan, they told me that it was 10 cents a minute. On October 28, 2003, I received my new bill of $197.00 just for my monthly home bill. I was upset and called Sprint for the third time this year to complain about my bill. I have been trying to find another company to change to but there just seems to be a monopoly on the PA market. It is becoming more and more frustrating as I spend hours on the phone trying to correct this bill. I have been told three different prices for the plan that I have, so their PCS plans are rip-offs just like their residential plans. I can't stand this company, and I will be reporting them to the PUC today!!!!
