SquareTrade SquareTrade Just RIps you off when it comes time to Honor there Warranty San Francisco California

BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY LIE AND RIP YOU OFF. There Warranty is about worth as much as the paper it is written on.

If you are reading this then it means you are smarter then I was at the time I decided to purchase a warranty on a ice maker that I bought from ebay.

I to should of looked up reviews on this company before I purchased there warranty, but I did not of course.

And now like I am sure others finding out the hard way they are happy to take your money but never willing to honor there warranty.

They make up lies to get out of the warranty, and they went so far as to cancel my warranty with them once I pointed out to them that if what they claim is true then why do they at this very second have one ice maker after the other still under warranty on ebay if they do not warranty ice makers.

I of course sent them proof of purchase of the ice maker and proof of purchase of the warranty from there company. But instead of honoring the warranty they claimed the seller was defrauding me and the warranty should of never been placed there to begin with...

I found out the seller cannot place the warranty square trade does on what they warrant. And again if that was true then why do they show a warranty on ever ice maker I found on ebay except used one's.

I filed a complaint with ebay and BBB.. but still square trade refuses to respond to anyone... instead they wish to just take the money from customers and continue there ways of practice.

Beware of this company they will cheat you.... Take it from one who is finding that out this second.

I had to go ahead and buy a new ice maker from ebay cause it was clear that this company was not about to honor there warranty.

Please beware of this company do not lose your money like I did and then when you need this company to help they refuse to and instead decide to ignore you.

An Update on July 3rd 2017 I received a check from SquareTrade in the amount of $11.20 they are trying to wash there hands with this matter.

But I have written them and told them as I did BBB that I refuse to except this check and would not be cashing it.

The only thing I will except is reinbursement of the icemaker that I bought and they excepted me warranting at the time of purchase.

This is a very most cheating company I heve ever dealt with online,  I have been online for years dealing with companies, and this is the first time I have ever ran into a company like this.  They refuse to stand by what they warrant.

Instead they chose to ignore you,  cancel your warranty to get out of being responsible, Lie to you,  Cheat you

Take it from one who Knows and has experience with this company ... STAY FAR AWAY, if you buy a warranty from them then you mize well take the same amount of money that you use to purchase the warranty and just throw it in the fire place.  Cause its the same thing,   Means you have lost your money.
