My wife is currently at this facility. She has a long prescription medication history as well as having two strokes and COPD. She made the decision to get off the pain medication for her back as it seemed to not being effective anymore. She worked with her pain management doctor and went through a 4 day detox for the opiates she was on and is now getting off the benzodiazipine that she has been on for many years. We went in search of a facility for her recovery and one that accepted Medicare. The only on in our area was this facility.

There are many issues with this facility. She went through two psychiatrists befoe she found one that wasn't immediaely confrontational. She has swallow issues that prevents her from drinking normal liquids. she has to use a thickener but has not been given one and the one I brought to her was handed back to me and told she couldn't have it there.

Calls from the admistration there are non-existant. I work shift work and I will say the a couple of times they have been accomidating to me to visit on non-visitation days. Right now I am waiting for a call from the social services supervisor to address some issues with her tratmentand dietary needs. If I don't here back from her I will be on their door step on Wednesday to deal with this in person. This will not be a pleasant meeting on their part.
