This a a "bad company" - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

The 30-day no risk trial is not a trial period at all; you get charged $15.99 for it if you continue service with them. As their product turned out to be of absolutely no benefit to me, I tried to cancel by email before my service ended. When I got no confirmation of my cancellelation after several days, I attempted to call them. After several days of hanging on and not getting thru, I was finally successful. But an agent there, who was rude and abrupt, told me that my cancelation by email would not be honored and that I should have called in earlier. He said I would be charged $15.99 for my "trial period". When I called my credit card company, this money had already been charged to me.

I explained to him that their product was "useless" for the average consumer like me, who uses just $.37 stamps, and that I was unable to use up the excess postage I purchased from them without buying expensive templates on which to print the stamps. Nevertheless, the agent would not agree to refund my money.

Now, as I read all the other stamps.com complaints on this web site, which are very much like mine, I realize that I should have checked them out before agreeing to their offer.

You are mistaken my friend, stamps.com FAQ states

"Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely. You can cancel your membership simply by contacting Stamps.com Customer Support. There are no cancellation fees and no commitments. To avoid being charged after your trial, simply cancel your account before the trial ends"

And last i checked an email was customer support.

Stamps.com policy is that you must cancel by phone, if you would have read the faq and searched the database you would have seen that, therefore they reserve the right not to honor your email.
