Standford Who's Who Stanford Who's Who seems like a scam by the looks of it. New York, New York

Was contacted by a representative from the company as well...saying that I had asked to be part of their database. I do not recall doing that but she quoted that I emailed them a reliable networking website and I put it off to absent mindedness on my part.

Conducted a 15 minute Q & A session and a speel on the welcome package and services and what they will do for me while I was waiting to hear the catch. Yes the catch was payment for services which is fine...but the problem was that the moment I started asking questions and saying that I would need time to think about it. I did not recall writing to them and I was not going to commit to something like that and I sure as hell was not going to pay for it over the phone.

The voice on the other side got progressively defensive and then rude and said that I was talking over her now..etc etc..Finally ended up with her abruptly and rudely disconnecting the call...I ask myself why would any legitimate company with a legitimate program ever do that..This must be a SCAM!!
