Stanford Carr was building I project I wouldn't dare mention to the world wide web a few years ago. I am the manager and general partner for a specialty wood company that imports various woods from Bali, Indonesia, China, and Brazil. Stanford befriended me when I inquired about my services I could offer him, and eventually he was building luxury homes. He called me up and said meet me at Starbucks. We met and after agreeing to use my services, before I left, he said, "h*o, by the way, make sure to give me a discount off of the invoice, those are some big bucks!"

I laughed and said bye, business went on and the homes were built. When I sent Stanford Carr Development an invoice for all of the wood they bought from me, I got a call from Stanford on how he wanted that discount. He said instead of paying $XXX USD per foot, he wants a 20% discount. I said no, and he was fine with it. After about 15 days, I still didn't see any checks coming in from his company and I was getting pissed as I needed to pay importers. I called Stanford demanding he pay me immediately the full amount and in very similar words he said, "If you make a f*cking ruckus about what I want to pay you, then I will call in the boys on you and you will living with those g_dd*mn trees in the forest! Call me again and you won't know what hit you, or your small a*s wood shop!"

I agreed to his offer to pay me only 70% of the invoice and I ended up having to get a HELOC and ask many friends and family for money to pay off the payables my company had. My partner also got very angry and when he called Stanford, he recieved a similar threat. Do not do business with this man, nor buy anything that he builds. There are many other complaints on Ripoffreport.com about him and his poor building skills. BUYER and BUSINESSMAN ALIKE, BEWARE!

So let me get this right? This guy intimidates you into giving him a 30 percent discount by threatening your life and then you post his name on the Internet with details of his threat.

Your either lying or very stupid. I guess stupid. If this is true don't worry, I'm sure he threatens so many people he won't remember you.
