SEO Reputation Management at its best!

I saw their ad on TV saying 2 pairs of no-line bifocals for $99.00. Made an appointment for 2/27/2013. Arrived about 10 mins early. Waited 1 hr for "free" eye exam. After the exam, selected my frames (buy 1 get 1 free) and transitions for the no-line bifocal lenses.  Bottom line was $446.00, not even close to the $99.00 advertised. Sent email to corporate office complaining about the ginormous difference between their advertised price and what I was charged. All they offered was a $150.00 discount on my next visit.

2 weeks later (3/13) was notified that my glasses were in. Went to Stanton to have them fitted properly. Put them on and could not see clearly. Everything was like in a fog - kind of "fuzzy". I had better vision with my old glasses. Also, couldn't locate the 2nd pair. At first they were going to do a refund. Then they asked me to do a re-exam. Didn't have time, so I refused (5 people waiting).

They said the district manager would only authorize a refund if the glasses didn't arrive on time, they couldn't correct the vision problem, and one other thing. I asked them "what your saying is that you have my $446.00 and there is no way I will get a refund?, right". and the said yes. Their final offer was to take the prescription from my old glasses, make me two new pair with that prescription, plus wait 2 more weeks for them to arrive. That's not a solution. Why, on God's green earth, would I have them make a duplicate of my old prescription for $446.00?

I sent an email to their corporate office requesting a possible solution to prevent me from taking other action. Still no response.
