Worked for the company (California) for a year and a half. Got injured while on the job, told I couldn't collect from the company because they didn't have the provisions to take care of me --that I'd have to go to the state.

Now, 1 year and 2 months later, still hurt, not settled. In pain, but they won't approve prescriptions or surgery.

Word of advice: Don't work for Staples. They'll screw you --big time.

If you have been injured then you may want to retain a lawyer. Most lawyers who take on Workmans Comp cases work on a contigiency fee that is deducted from your award after the case has either been settled or decided on. Good Luck and hope your health gets better.
