I was told I had won North american Shoppers Sweepstakes and they sent me a check for $4875.00 but I had to send them cash via western union for the taxes on the winning of $2975.00 and then they would send me my winnings of $120,125.00 by fedEx

When you chose NOT TO CHECK IT OUT FIRST.
That scam has been going on for some time now and many heads-up notes are posted here and other complaint boards.
#1 - You have to pay your OWN taxes on any winnings - it is usually taken out of the winnings before you ever receive a check on the payout - they do not send you a check to pay your taxes with.
IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE- IT USUALLY IS
