My name is Aaron Rush, I reside in Tucson, Az. I was contacted by Star communications on Jan. 04,2006. As most of us are, I was quite apprehensive about the whole "tele-market" thing(esp. since these people on the phone BARELY speak any english and are hard to understand) but was also dooped myself. I have a fresh family( A Fiancee, and the COOLEST 1 year old son) I work Two VERY full-time jobs and try to do what I can to try getting my new family on its feet. And some Fun and a much deserved vacation are what We All need. So I took the bait. Hook line and sinker.
As excited as I was for this package to arrive, alas it didn't come. After a very anxious 14 days I called and inquired of the whereabouts of my package. The gentleman assured me it would be there but have @times taken up to 3 weeks to arrive. thinking that was a bit odd I asked if that was the case, how did they know when to start the time on my 10 day review period. he assured me that it was being tracked and in fact When it arrived that I would need to call the customer service number and that there would be some confirmation numbers I would need to retrieve for the phone card to be activated. So I thought nothing more of it. Then Again on aprox. the 24th or 25th I called back AGAIN to query the where abouts of the package and to let them know that I still haven't recieved my package when a woman named "Rose Clark" told in a very hurried and Quite rude south-asian accent "No worry, No worry, It will be there by the end of the month. It had to be re-ordered" So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured no prob they screwed-up, it happens......I continued to ask her If there was goin to be any problem w/the billing and she assured me that there would not be and it would be there shortly. two days later I recieved it in the mail that Friday (the 27th of January,2006). I looked it over and the package wasn't all that we discussed over the phone. So I gave them a call on the 31st of January, 2006 and that's when I realized It was all wrong. Not only that the discounts where as they promised, and no phone card, and that the shopping spree was really only a rebate scam.
But the 10 day review was also BOGUS!!!Enfuriated w/the lack of professionalism and courtesy I cancelled all services and after speaking with a "supervisor"(s) I was told I could cancell But they can not give me a refund of the funds that where illegally procurred from my account, that would have to come from Star Communications, At which time they could not or actually WOULD NOT give me any contact info on. And that is why I hopped online only to find this place.............so IF ANYONE has ANY info please hit me back w/it.........
