Star Of David Moving ripoff, change delivery date, not enough movers, damaged property Sunrise Florida

I would like to tell everyone not to use this company. I would love to see them out of business! They repeatedly lied to me. They kept changing my delivery date and told me if I did not accept delivery on Christmas Day 2003 that they would charge me extra.

I was dealing with a moron named Sindee and some men that do not speak english. Try giving directions like that. They told me that they were Jewish and did not celebrate christmas so it was my tough luck and if I didn't take delivery on Christmas morning I would have to pay extra and have my date moves (AGAIN, it was already late!). I was 5 months pregnant at the time of the move and was forced to help unload my own stuff because their religious practices don't let them work past sundown.

They did thousands of dollars of damage to my things and refused to pay. They hang up on me when I call or are "unavailable." They misquoted my move and did not bring a truck big enough for our stuff. I had to pay someone else to finish my move and beg the new owners of the house we moved out of to let me have some extra time! The worst part was that they were supposed to have 4 men there. Only 2 showed up and they literally left my house at 4 am before we closed at 10 am the next morning. I guess they were allowed to work past sundown to take my stuff - ha! They completely ruined our holiday, delivered late, misquoted the price, damaged our house and belongings, changed the dates repeatedly and refused to pay for the damge to our furniture or return (or even take) my phone calls. They have no after hours number, so when they are late or you have a problem you are out of luck.

I hope and pray that what comes around goes around and no one else hires this band of theives. I am horrified that a company like this could remain in business! They are so sickly sweet on the phone asking about my pregnancy and trying to get our business and then turn around to be so RUDE!
