Complaint Review: Stardock Software
Stardock Software Stardock Corporation no support for licensing problems. Will not refund. Cannot get to their support. Plymouth, MI Michigan
Stardock sells Start8 among other software programs. If you purchase software and the license works, good for you. If you have any kind of problem at all, there is no support. Stardock rejects every email going to firstname.lastname@example.org Stardock's on line help desk does not work. If you have a problem and want a refund - forget it. You will not get any help or any refund. There is no customer support period.
I am an IT professional and I buy software for my clients and the Start8 program is a good one but beware of problems. Yes, it's only $5 but it's the principle of the issue. Stadock takes your money and then you are on your own. Frequently after you establish an account with them, your email address as login just stops working mysteriously, so you can't purchase more or look at what you did in the past. This is criminal behavior. I urge all of you to not purchase from this company unless you want to take a chance that you may get the product.
