As my title indicates I have been had by the same company "Startup Essentials" or should I say "Ripoff Essentials"

I have been contacted by these individuals with the offer to assist me in opening my own internet based business. Everything went really smooth, with them saying that they would be able to work with me only if I qualify financially. After checking my credit report they proceeded to soften me up and encouraging my involvement in the partnership. And I guess I've been too invoved with my reqular work while talking to them that it hadn't raised any flags in my mind. I've signed the contract and off I went being all "plucked and gutted, and ready for the pot".

After realising that the contract has much more signatures and my initial that I had signed and initialed originally I told myself "I think you've been had!!!"

I took this matter very seriously. I remembered that no matter how binding and irrevocable any contract it has a little time loophole - that is about 24 hours, untill any contract goes through processing and becomes binding.

First thing I did to protect myself. I went to my bank and flagged any unathorised attempts to withdraw any funds without my knowledge. Then I e-mailed Social Security Administration with the request to flag any any unauthorised use of my SS#. Another set of e-mails went to all 3 credit reporting agencies.

I've checked Better Business Bureau Website and they had no reports or complains registered under the company name.

My wife called me to tell me that the package had arrived. I went and spoke to my company's legal department and was advised to return the package unopened. After that I've sent the following e-mail to Startup Essentials:

Mr.Boehm
With this e-mail I would like to inform you that upon deliberation and consultation with our legal department and in lieu of other extraneous circumstances, such as the irrevocability of the aforementioned contract on my part as a signatory, I withdraw from the aforementioned contract.

Your equipment will be returned unopened to your business address, hence the contact in which you stipulated will take effect upon confirmation of the shipment will be null and void.

Accordingly the financial institution has been informed to flag and refuse any attempts of the withdrawal of funds by any party unauthorized by the owner of the account.

The Social Security offices has been informed of any unauthorized attempts by any company or private person to use the Social Security number given to you and will consider any such attempts to be in violation of Federal Social Security Act.

I will absorb the cost of shipping back the package.

In any attempt from your side to harass me as a private individual I will be forced to open legal action against you company.

Best Regards,

After that I have recieved the standard phone message, I think they have this list of personal abuses written in capital letters on the wall of they office. Calling me coward, etc. And telling me that we are over and done with.

I will update this message if anything new will develop.

Startup Essentials is still up and running.

AUTHOR: Sabts - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 07, 2007

Startup Essentials is still doing business. They are now using US Merchant Systems
instead ( They are also liers) of USA Card Services. I have been a member of Startup Essentials for almost 8 months and they have scammed me in more ways than one. One of their top guys Steve Mayes has founded a company called "Optigroove". One of the many companies Startup Essentials pushes. They are a search engine optimization company that helps people put their websites on the search engines. Everything has changed so much in the 8 months I have been with them. I am now trying to get out of my lease with A-1 Leasing for this stupid laptop. I looked into www.leasebreakers.org but then I read on this website that this guy is not legit and that he used to work for one of these companies. I am so confused. I just want out..

Did you make It?

Was just wondering if you contacted the lawyer listed and what happened. Were you able to get rid of them? My understanding is that they agreed to close their doors in response to the lawsuit against them. Respond to this and let me know how things went. Best of continued luck.

AUTHOR: Carla - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 12, 2007

Now that you have done the right thing in returnig your package, you mightwant to take one more step. Contact Robert Beiderman in Dallas, Texas. He is a lawyer who is already aware of USA Card Services and A1 Leasing, he has a Lawsuit that is in the works and he has been told that USA Card services is no longer in business. If they are no longer in business and Startup Essentials is no longer is business..who ia continuing to contact people? Good Luck!

Avoid Lease Breakers

AUTHOR: Jack - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 06, 2007

Avoid Lease Breakers, it's just another scam. In fact, "Leonard Anderson" isn't even a real person. (Check out the very bottom of their site in the fine print)

Turns out "Leonard Anderson" is really JEREMEY ESTES. Not only is Lease Breaker's so-called insider info worthless, JEREMEY ESTES actually worked for the company and SOLD PEOPLE INTO THE LEASES TO BEGIN WITH!!!

He made over $60,000 in commissions selling people into the lease. THE SAME PEOPLE HE IS NOW TRYING TO MAKE MORE MONEY ON BY SELLING THEM A WAY TO GET OUT OF THE LEASE HE SOLD THEM.

Seems a little shady to me.

And THAT'S a FACT...

Good luck

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 03, 2007

You dealt with Jason Boehm? I can tell you right now, from what I know of that guy, he doesn't give a d**n about you or any other person he signs up. He's a "boiler room"-esque sales type.

Go to Lease breakers.
