 On September 30th, 2013 I was involved in an accident by a seventeen-year old (driving only four months) running a red light and hitting my automobile at an intersection. I had a witness and went to file an accident report at the local police station.

I followed procedure and filed a claim. The following Monday morning I went to my agent. They gave me the "bums rush" and told me that since the other party also had State Farm that I had to contact their agent. (Notice that "I" had to contact the other agent).

I followed through, only to have the State Farm Adjuster in Indiana- Tim Stamper notify me that nothing will be covered. I am now driving with a broken front bumper and license plate housing severed and still no satisfaction from State Farm; not even a partial payment as I was willing to negotiate.

It is true - State Farm does not have the integrity they used to be known for because of a new generation operating with different ideals which are not in the best interest of the consumer.

My suggestion to everyone filing a complaint on this site - also file with your State authorities as they want to hear consumer complaints of consumer fraud and negligence. Those agencies are: Better Business Bureau; State's Attorney's Office; Attorney General's Office; State Insurance Boards; and The Federal Trade Commission.

It has become to be known that Insurance companies are only in business to keep their employees working and the upper management with bonuses and perks. With insurance - you are simply buying a piece of paper!
