What the hell is your claim for? If you are claiming PTSD as a problem, good luck with that. If you have not seen combat forget about it. If you claim is for being exposed to chemicals while in the Navy again, good luck. The Navy provided you with safety equipment that you may or may have not worn. January 2011 The Veteran not at a VA Hospital but at University of Colorado, had three sections of his left lung taken out. We do not get Free Health Care! So no this is not a bull sh*t claim! You know I'm  sure if your from the South, I already have a pretty fair picture of who and what you are.

You will see all different types of illnesses this open burning has caused, you will see the names of Veterans who have died.

Also If the USN would have told my spouse he had Asthma in 1996, he was hazmat, hazwopers, Fire Marshall, painter, ReFueled the Ships, worked with over 800 hours of landings on small Ships.

So because of know one telling him he was sick, they retired him and he got a Job a year later with KBR. So going to Iraq is a Death sentance for him.

Again we do not use the VA except for the PTSD Tricare Standard pays the bills except 20%, He goes to National Jewish and Univesity of Colorado. Nothing Free However, back to not wearing mask. Non of the Soilders in Iraq or the Contractor were given mask. While my spouse was on the ships he did wear protection, but that is not Enough Look up Dr. Richard Lipsey, he is a Witness for the Goverment and other Companies.

Well since you are clearly incapable of reading let me illustrate this to you again. I at no time have ever been an officer other than a petty officer. I too have painted, been exposed to various chemicals and worked on the flight as I was in an aviation rating. In addition, I also served on ships with known asbestos on board. So I feel little sympathy over you blaming the system for your apparent lack for following published procedures. AGENT ORANGE?!?!!?, that has not been used at all since Vietnam! There is no way you were exposed to agent orange if you claim the service dates you do. No wonder you cannot get your claim processed. If it is not in your service record and or medical record YOU have to produce the proof. 

You want to know how I navigate the system? I made copies of all my medical and service records entries. I took them to my local VFW where the fellas there were eager to advise on what to do and what forms to fill out. So sorry, I did not go through any civil service loopholes or use my "contacts". Now my claim is working its way through the channels. It usually goes pretty quick when you have the right information and the relevant proof to back it up. 

Now I come to the part where you really pissed me off. I donate both time and money to homeless shelters and the wounded warrior program. I am a wounded warrior alumni as I have wounds from battle overseas. I have both PTSD and TBI for incidents that occurred during my time in service. I used those programs and the VA to keep myself off the street and employed. I planned and used my VA benefits to complete my education and attain favorable employment. So while I do suffer on-going health ailments I do not let them impede my career. 

Bottom line from reading all your comments and rants it sounds like you are trying just to get money and not care. If that is the case shame on you. You crowd up the system with your bullshit claims and then preach to holy hell your being screwed. I made the choice not to loose my loved ones and to get treatment for what I have. They have been wonderful in helping me work through my problems and assisting both myself and my family. I do not pick up the d**n phone and call every week asking "where is my d**n money". Guess what nitwit, the VA is the one who assigns you the rating for your disability. They are going to listen to their doctors and not your bullshit fairy tale. I also re-read your comments and you have had no procedures done at the VA. According to you, the only treatment you seek is for PTSD. In that case you should be assigned a treatment team. YOU clearly have failed in this argument and it would be wise to just shut up. 

Insulting me just shows that you are clearly ignorant of the facts and are just out for money. I really hope that is not the case. We all have to wait for our claims to be researched and processed. I gave you a list of offices to contact if you truly are having trouble. If you are just out for a check you will find the door being slammed in your face frequently. The VA is there to TREAT you not just to PAY you. Stop bitching about the system use it to your advantage. It is there to work for you and help you.

I just choose to pronounce and spell my words the correct way. You were right we probably did cross paths as I traveled to Boca Chica field many times. Working the aviation community I came in contact with many types of toxic substances. However, I always wore PPE and suffer no long term issues. What I do for a living and my income is of no concern to you. I do not work for the government I took advantage of my benefits and achieved an education while on active duty. If you are jealous of where I live then shame on you. I worked hard for what I have and I too fought for this country and was injured while doing so. You are lucky, you are retired that is money for the rest of your life plus healthcare. I pay for my healthcare through my employer. The VA only treats my service connected injuries. Again I find the VA staff to be professional, caring and proud top notch individuals.

What more do you want? I find that you some how know what certain people are collecting for disability kind of frightening. In closing I offer this advice. Go to the patient advocate office, if they are unwilling to help you call the inspector general. If those routes fail call your congressman and/or senator. If all else fails contact the local newspaper or television station. If you put as much effort into gathering required information as you do blaming people I bet the process moves faster.

Okay, I have read your comments and I have to say I am disgusted by your simple lack of common words and grammar. I know the Navy taught you better than that. You claim all these ailments and that the VA, the state and country treat you like crap. Guess what moron there are ways to mitigate those circumstances. File a report with inspector general for starters. Next, call your congressman and/or senators office and file a complaint there. Every VA has a patient advocate office to ensure you get top quality care. You clearly are unhappy with something and because you do not get the answers you want you get pissed. 

Also how the hell do you know that all these so called people are 100% disabled? Guess what, if you are over a certain percentage you cannot work for the federal government. This clearly shows your lack of knowledge in the process and I am not surprised. What I gather is you are trying to claim all these ailments and have no proof to back them up. That is a common occurrence around the VA today. Everyone trying to get something for nothing. If you truly were injured while in service your medical records should reflect that. 

You need to go see the patient advocate office, bottom line. 


No I do not work for the VA. I do go to the VA for my care due my documented combat related injuries. My claim has been filed and I have to wait for it to clear all the red tape just like you do. I have found the staff at the VA to be professional, well manned and quite concerned that we receive the best care they can give. Stop acting like an a*****e and you might get somewhere.

What this is about is coming homd from war, being exposed to heavy chemicals whic distroyed my lungs, seein some of the most terrible things a friend gstting his head cut off. The State , County Veteram service workers do not and have not had any training in medical knowledge to process a disablity claim mine has been three and a half years I do not get free care, i use my insurance. I cant work due to my three lung disease These people who work Federal, state And County all have had thier disabty claims done They work a 100% vet makes over 3000 Month in disablity pay and work for their employers making another 3000 to 4000 a month All the othe veterans who call them if the argu with them at all dubecause these workers ared are wrong You will get hung up on your case file of all like i.my meci al 850 pages eill be misplaced. They treat veterans like s**t, thier familes like s**t Do you like to go to. Clinic or doctors office and be direspected just bevause the workers know they cant get fired no matter what they do Have you ever read a Patient bill of rights Do you think if you tell you doctot your depressed amd want to go inpatient to get help you should go? This state worker yesterday does not have a boss So and whomever works with him can do whatever they want at any cost
