Steinhafels POOR QUALITY FURNITURE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE Waukesha, Wisconsin

We purchased a wall recliner from Steinhafels in September of '09 for $999 with 22% off coupon.  It was supposed to come with a massage/heat feature.  When it was delivered, the massage did not work.   After repeated calls month after month in December a very nice technician (Frank) had come out to look at it and said that the motors were defective.  It took over a month to get new ones in which only worked for less than an hour.  Another month later another "new" set of defective motors and by the middle of March we had replaced everything from the controller to the wiring to no avail. 

I very nicely asked for 1/2 of our money back, releasing them of any further future warranty problem (which I thought was more than fair) and they originally offered me $150 refund.  $150?????  I told them no of course and then I was rudely told that $200 would be my "final offer" take it or leave it. 

This would have meant me paying about $550 for a recliner "as is" no warranty. 

I have spoken with many people around the area and everyone refers to this place as "Stealhafels" as they take advantage of their customers with no regrets. 

After repeated requests for even an apology from them for their poor quality furniture and poor quality customer service all I got is an "I'm sorry noone has contacted you".

I am making it my personal goal to tell everyone who will give me 5 minutes of their time how bad this company is and I ask everyone to do the same (within the legal limits of the law please). 

WORD OF MOUTH IS POWERFUL IF WE USE IT!
