I got done by Stephen Baring now calling himself Stephen Mark Hugh Jones a thief liar arrogant pretentious fraudster who stole from me causing me stressful financial loss. Stephen Baring sells art posters & prints at high prices, he took my paintings to sell and sold them, then told me I have to wait till he has some money as thats normal business, saying he will pay me when he can but never has. He told me to stop calling him or he will take it as harassment and call the police. Stephen Mark Hugh Jones, a slimy worm, won't answer his phone 02036334341, I’m confined at home and can't get out to visit him at his living address 38 Calderon Road Leyton London E11 4EU or his business address Tempus Arts Ltd, 50 Liverpool Street London EC2M 7PY. Can anyone help me, citizen advice say its not straight forward as he operates under different names, company names and different addresses. He was Tempus Online, Tempus Gallery and now Tempus Arts Ltd.

I hope to be able to contribute to this sorry tale more meaningfully in due course, however, for the present I wanted to point out that at least one of the characer testimonials for Stephen Baring (nee Jones), purporting to be written by his brother David Jones, almost certainly does not actually come from David, but is likely by someone else altogether, and you are therefore well advised to treat it and other defences of Stephen with some scepticism. I know Stephen very well, and have met all of his family, including his brother. The Jones family, individually and as a unit, are very well educated and highly cultured. As such, they cultivate and maintain certain standards, not least in their speech, whereas the writer of the testimony clearly cannot claim to have any great ease with English, much less the condidence and facility I know from personal experience that each and any of the Jones family would wield. I can therefore say with a good deal of confidence that David is not the author of the testimony as is claimed: amongst other things, it is full of grammatical and spelling errors and an absurd grandiosity, which even were he to be blind drunk, David would scarcely allow himself to make. I'll even go so far as to say that I feel sure that neither is the mystery writer Stephen himself, writing under nom de plume and attempting to buttress his character from the safety of a different IP address, since, of all the Jones family, he is the one with the strongest feeling for literature, and whilst arguably he may indeed be morally dissolute, I know that he would rather accept an accusation of fraud than to have to force himself to write such obvious and thumping great illiteracies. No, the writer is most likely an African friend of Stephen's who has been asked to spend a few minutes helping Stephen out of one his too-frequent tight spots.

Let it be widely known that the person who has written, and continues to write, he is the ''good angel'' and "his businesses are reputable" and ''of sound moral character'' is, of course, Stephen Mark Hugh Baring.  It is on record by statements made by creditors, web designers, fellow watchsellers who know all about the truly evil and unremourseful Baring.       Re-read the last rebuttal and you will see that Baring refers to me as an idiot.  In an e-mail from a while back, Stephen posed the question to me "What contributions have you ever made to others?"  I enumerated my contributions - my extensive volunteer work, etc.  When I asked Baring to name something he has ever done to help others or to the world,"  He flat out ignored my question.  Negative Baring complaints began flowing onto the internet as far back as 2012.  He has scammed and committed gross fraud on foreigners such as myself, but also made his moves to Sweden, Russia, and Italy.   Now, let me discuss how Baring has disrespectfully and evily defamed me as a person.  O k, I was born with a birth defect.  I was born without a left eye.  baring, on numerous occasions, has labeled me a "cyclops - a pathetic one, a "loser," an ugly attention-seeker.    What Baring does is when he is fully cognizant of a person's weak points, he takes full advantage of them, to verbally stab you with his evil.       Baring is a child, by his rebuting our reports when he finds that they rightly and honestly attack his character. Baring lacks character and CANNOT maintain and manage any business he begins, because each of them have always ended up in bankruptcy.     I will say this again.  Contact the London Police Department's Scam and Fraud Unit and the Powys (Wales) Police Department and soon, you will see the high number of reports filed against Baring by former customers, former employees, former creditors, his former website manager, and former watchsellers.  Contact the Queensbridge London Court to verify my words are correct, as to Baring having to pay a 16,000+ Br.  Yesterday, April 17, 2015, was written in defense of Stephen Mark Hugh Baring.  This report was written not by David Jones, but by Stephen, himself.  Notice the NUMBER of negative reports posted on this reputable site.  I personally know MANY of Baring's victims, whose spirit and mental heasth have taken a bad toll.    More than one Baring "victim" has detailed the same bad experiences.     Baring wrote an outright lie.  True, I was at one time part of the long-term unemployed here in the U.S., but as of late have secured a well paying job in my field of accounting.  I ask each and every one of you victims to thorughly read ALL of the posts on this site, ALL of the posts on the scamorg.com site and the tripadvisor.com site.  Also, ring up the London Police Department Fraid and Scamming Unit and do the same for the Powys, Wales Police Department.     Did you carefully read of the chap who recovered over 16,000 Br. Pnds. by winning a Judgment against Baring?  Please do read it;  I believe this post is on this site.  The Queens Bench division of the Courts has ordered Baring to pay one of his victims over 16,000 Br. I am the brother of Stephen Baring and have known him for forty seven years, which makes me a far better judge of his character than the one person who deems it their right to slate his character and try to bring down his business. I am also a teacher at a school in Milton Keynes and therefore a very good judge of character and believe, an upstanding and honest member of the community.

I know my brother to be extremely hard working, professional in manner, knowledge and expertise in his realm as well as being caring in terms of doing his best to those he serves or works with. His business is his life and he does all he can to provide the best that he can for those who require his service.

I know the true story of this one individual who claims that there are many others who supposedly have been cheated on too. This is indeed one sad and shallow imitation of a human being who portrays all there is about the worst things in mankind. Instead of accepting this and learning from their wrong doings, he has made it their life and a personal vendetta to not only lie about my brother and his business, but also take on the persona of others to add further lies and rumours about Stephen.

This one person has made it their life to write numerous reports in various websites, including this website, making up different reports, headings, creating gossip and telling outright lies about Stephen.

I also know first hand (from reading the many reviews and the feedback as well as the star rating in Ebay) of the many thousands of people across the globe who have dealt with Stephen in the purchase of antique watches and jewellery in the past and indeed present. They have all received a first class experience, receiving expert advice honesty and a true antique gem of a purchase. His Ebay reviews were littered with praise.

You may well read the various reports about my brother's wrong doings and begin to believe them. Just remember that if there is one peron who has what they deem an unfair or bad experience in the past, and wishes to adopt a vendetta against him it is extremely easy for them to write numerous reports, making up names, different stories and lies. If this person involved has been unemployed for four years as they say, why haven't they got themsleves a job to bring themself out of the verge of homelessness? It is clearly obvious that this person has all the time in the world to increase their vendetta against my brother, and to take the time to write in the persona of a number of supposed disgruntled customers.All it takes is a few hours to write a nunber of reports about my brother and all of a sudden people across the globe believe that there are many who feel the same way. It is very easy to create or fabricate as in this case, new profiles, email addresses, password and login details isn't it?

You could believe this, or you could choose to think about what I have said about my brother. I do not live in the same city as him, do not speak to him as regularly as I should, but know better than anyone else of his character, his upbringing, his mannerisms, his deep desire to be successful and his aim to build a business through bringing honesty, professionalism and expertise.

I too know of his faults being his brother (he used to be unkind to me at times as a child as older brothers do) but also know that he cares deeply about me and my family and would do anything he could to help us if we were in trouble. I also know that he as a business man, has to bring in a wage for those who work for him, but know that he WOULD NOT cheat on people in order to do this. Why would he if he is trying to build a successful image and business? Why do wrong doings that would make his clients uphappy when he trying to sell globally and be successful? Why would he tell lies when the Internet is a source of information and eveything would get back to him when he is tryng to make a living for himself and others?

He is not a crook as this one person claims, he is not a cheat and he is not sadistic or cunning. What this person says about him is unfounded and what the others say are completely falsified, unpleasant and untrue.

The only way to find out for yourself is to visit his gallery and see for yourself.

Expect to find someone who does charm you and who does have the knowledgeable patter, but you will also find somone who is true to their word and will deal with you professionally, honestly and truthfully. If you wish to find out more about the reasons behind this vendetta then ask him; he is open enough to tell you, and then take it as word. I know from  47 years of being his brother that it is the truth.

If you hadn't noticed, Stephen Jones (aka Baring) has posted his verbal defense as to his credibility.  His words are the oh so typical, outright lies that he continues to spew. 

The London Police continues to be on his trail.  In the London (Queens Bench) Court, a Judgment for 16,500 Br. Pnds. + 8.0% Court-appointed interest was imposed on Jones (Baring). 

Also, ring up the England Fair Business Standards agency to further back up the valid and credible statements that myself and 60 to 75 other "victims" of Jones (Baring).

Call various London pawn shops.  Jones (Baring) had the outright malevolence and lack of morals to sell alot of his victims' watches, which were sent to him to either trade or sell on the websites of his bankrupt businesses Tempus Suisse & Tempus Gallery and also on his now removed listings on EBay.

Note well, readers.  Jones (Baring) does not know what it means to work  to make a decent living.  He is a most evil, obdurate, self-aggrandizing, immoral, unethical, unscrupulous leech who fits the definitions of a psychopath and a sociopath.

BEWARE-all of you women out there.  Jones (Baring) makes his calculating moves to those women who are PASSIVE, OVERLY TRUSTING, and GULLIBLE.  He has done this to me, being a chap of 60.  If you see Jones (Baring-there are at least 3 clear photos of him on this site- I STRONGLY WARN YOU TO RUN AND NOT WALK AWAY FROM THIS BEAST WHO SPEWS EVIL VENOM.

Jones (Baring) has a venomous, evil mouth, which is his defense when his victims verbally confront him.  Since the 1990s up until today, Jones (Baring) had approximately 12 to 16 ''businesses" that have failed.  Why did ALL of these businesse fail?  They failed because he did not know to manage his finances and had a misguided sense of priorities.  After all, his biggest priorities in life were and still are to supposedly wine and dine in first class restaurants - squandering most of his money  and when it comes to pay his disgruntled creditors and debtors, he simply did not have barely enough money to pay the bills.

Jones (Baring) had literally no clue as to how to run a ''business' PROPERLY.  His so-called accounting records were a bloody mess.  His credits greatly exceed his debits to the point of NO RETURN.  On his Tempys Suisse site, it used to say (AND ABOUT ONE YEAR AGO, Jones (Baring) removed it, "I am a professional and as such, I will treat you and your money in a professional manner.  I have my 20+ years of professional experience to back up what I say. 

Jones (Baring) HAS ALWAYS BOASTED to many of hus ''customers" that he had 6,000 customers throughout the world.  This is bloody hogwash.  He knows and WE KNOW IT. 

Lastly, Jones (Baring) posted that there are ONLY TWO former customers that have been BAD-MOUTHING him.  Besides reading the reports on this site, why don't you also check out the negative reports that were posted on the 192.com site?  Also, ring up The London Police Department's Fraud and Scam Unit?  There are NUMEROUS REPORTS FILED with them.  If you reside in the U.S., why don't you call the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation).

I ask you.  What would you do if Jones (Baring) maliciously STOLE your $ 19,883.38 USD rare 1946 platinum Patek watch?  What would you do if Jones (Baring) asked you to invest money into his "Vintage Watch Investment Fund," which would mean that you would have to deposit your hard-earned money into his "BOGUS SCAM FUND?"  I stupidly deposited $ 7,500 USD into his fund and sure enough, I was rippsed off.  What would you do if you bought a 1950 pink gold/steel Cartier watch on Nov. 27, 2012 and paid $ 6,613 USD (or 4,000 Br. Pnds) for it and it NEVER WAS SHIPPED TO ME?  What would you do if you shipped your black-dialed 1993 Breitling chronograph to him for him to sell and if this watch did sell, I would receive 85% of the proceeds and Jones (Baring) would get 15% of the proceeds.  Jones (Baring) sold my watch and HAS NEVER paid me for the sale.  By the way, I paid $ 3,919,46 USD for it.

There are victims of Jones (Baring) from ALL OVER THE WORLD:  England, Switzerland, the U.S., Russia.....THE LIST OF COUNTRIES IS SO LENGTHY THAT ALL OF THEM WILL NOT BE POSTED HERE.

What I am about to jot down here is not meanr to you to feel any iota of synpathy toward me, but my sole intent is to let you know HOW JONES (BARING) HAS KILLED THE HEARTS, SOULS, AND MINDS of myself and many others,  On Aug. 30, 2013, Sept. 27, 2013, Oct. 7, 2013, and Mar. 22, 2014, I attempted suicide, due to Jones (Baring).

On his defunct TEMPUS SUISSE site, MANY former victims of Jones (Baring) CAN, INDEED, attest to the fact that a large % of the vintage watches that he sold were FAKE.  On his defunct TEMPUS GALLERY site, it is widely known that he would buy cheap and at times fake art reproductions from the EBay site for dirt cheap prices and would then list these paintings, drawings, and lithographs on Ebay for as much as 15 times the price that Jones (Baring) paid for them.

Why do you think Jones' (Baring's) TEMPUS SUISSE and TEMPUS GALLERY sites were removed by EBay?  Think about it.

In closing, I cannot WARN all of you so strongly to STAY AWAY from Stephen Jones (Baring) as far as possible.

I bought a 1950 pink gold/steel Cartier watch on November 27, 2012 and have not received the watch,  Paid over 4,000 Br. Pnds. for it. I wired 7,545 USD to Baring as a deposit into his scam - "Vintage Watch Investment Fund.  He e-mailed me its contract on March 7, 2013, agreeing to oay me a 20% return on every watch that he sells during a monthly sales cycle.  Now, we are talking of big dollars -- at least $ 50,000 USD.

I began to purchase items from Stephen Baring (Jones) in June 2012. The first ten watches that I had bought from him were as advertised. However, my major problems began on 27-November, 2012. Between 27/11/12 and through to 07/04/13, Mr. Baring committed acts of GROSS FRAUD and has SCAMMED me.  He has in his possession a '50 pink gold/steel CARTIER watch that I paid 4,000 Br. Pnds. for. He has my BREITLING Navitimer Premier 1993 watch with a black dial that he agreed to sell on my behalf. He has in his possession my '46 platinum PATEK PHILIPPE "Top Hat" watch, which is a very rare watch. He has held $7,545 USD of my money, which was to be used as a deposit into his "Vintage Watch Investment Fund." STEPHEN BARING (JONES) HAD COMMITTED ACTS OF GROSS FRAUD AND HAS SCAMMED ME.   HE HAS IN HIS POSSESSION A '50 PINK GOLD/STEEL CARTIER WATCH THAT I HAVE PAID 4,000 BR. PNDS.  This rebuttal is to the attention of 'bailiff,' who wants to know Baring's whereabouts.  As you may know, I have filed numerous Complaints on this site, the .192 com site, on the action fraud site which is the fraud site of the London Police Department, etc.      I have been in correspondence with a person on the .192 site who uses the handle 'ken smith,' who informed me that the London Police Department has caught up with Baring.  I do know for a fact that one of Baring's former watch customers won a Judgment against Baring at the Queens Court in London to the tune of about 16,500 Br. Pnds.       Now that the London Police has caught up with Baring, there may be a possibility that he could be in jail.     I am not sure whether you live in the U.S. or in England.  If you do live in the U.S., I was told by a dear friend of mine to file an online Complaint with the U.S. FBI.  (the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation)   I will check this site a few times daily to check to see if you reply to my rebuttal.     Thank you for contacting me on this site.

I am providing ALL of Baring's passive customers an update- that Baring and his new e-mail address is using the name Helen.  He wrote to one of his loyal Russian customers named Roman telling Roman that both he and I have ruined HIS reputation and that both of us will not get our monies back UNLESS WE REMOVE OUR BEGATIVE FEEDBACK FIRST BEFORE HE REFUNDS US OUR MONEY.  Baring also told Roman that I am a liar.  Baring will use ANY means at his disposal to defame my character which in actuality is the antithesis of his own personality- It is his cruel, malevolent, sociopath, evil, deceiptful, fraudulent, sadistic personality, the personality who uses actual verbal threats of killing a British family and who also threatened to cause harm to this former customer/employees' 2 children!  AS some of you may know, Baring appeared before a Judge at the Queens Court in London and the Judge awarded one of Baring's customers a Judgment in the amount of approx. 16,300 Br.
