Stetzerizer Filters, filtered power strips - surge suppressors - also known as "protectors allegedly help eliminate electrical pollution and they are supposed to protect your equipment and home from electrical surges. The filters are also supposed to help you save money on your electric bills. At least that's what the company's distributors tell people but there is no evidence that such a claim is true.
Even though the couple reported the defective device to owner Dave Stetzer himself on the day of the incident, it took a full four months of efforts to get him to tell his insurance company about it. What happened next was a horror story. Mr. Stetzer then accused his victim of trying to extort him when the fellow said Stetzer should take responsibility and take care of any present or future medical bills.
Stetzer's insurance companies which are ignoring the incident are Acuity Insurance and John Glenn Adjusters (now merged with George Hills Company). Quite recently, Mr. Stetzer and Mr. Glenn told the victim that even though the unit nearly killed the couple and burned down their home, they would be happy to send him a new STETZERIZER.
Both the FTC - Federal Trade Commission consumer division and Underwriters Laboratory have been notified of the incident and are investigating Stetzer Electric. VISIT stetzerelectricdanger DOT com for the latest updates and a VIDEO INVESTIGATION REPORT of the defective product.

Stetzer Sues His Victim with a SLAPP Lawsuit
AUTHOR: BillyM - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, October 28, 2012
As if nearly being killed by a Stetzer Electric product wasn't enough, Dave Stetzer, the owner of Stetzer Electric, Inc. in Blair, Wisconsin went on to sue his victim for speaking out against him and his defective product. Dave Stetzer filed what's called a SLAPP lawsuit in order to shut down his victim's freedom of speech when he tried to protect other consumers from the danger caused by Stetzerizer EMF filters.
The victim had purchased two "filtered" surge suppressors from one of Stetzer's California distributors. One suppressor caught fire sending outs plumes of toxic smoke and nearly burned down his home and the second one showed evidence that it too was soon going to burst into flames. Stetzer doesn't want anyone to know about his dangerous products so that he can go on selling them through his distributors around the country. If you go on the website stetzerelectricdanger dot com visit the Science report page and download the PDF FILE that shows a Canadian Health study showing that Stetzer filters are useless as green energy filters but rather they add to the dirty electricity load in a house.

Dirty Electricity, Electrical Pollution
AUTHOR: BillyM - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, August 02, 2012
If you're trying to address issues related to dirty electricity and electrical pollution than the Stetzerizer is obviously not the way to go. They are compared on the internet with Greenwave filters so you may wish to look to their competitors. Either way, you should approach these products and particularly any Chinese made ones, with great care. Stetzer's are made in China.
