Steve Fiske The Woman's Newspaper and Scammed me out of $1500 for a fake magazine ad Oldsmar Florida

Once again Jennifer, your cowardly ways will not bode well for you in the community.  You trashed a man without speaking to him first.  You maligned a third party who had nothing to do with the situation and I have the pleasure of knowing of you from an event when you held a whole group of people responsible for one person who parked his car incorrectly.  I am also aware of your trying to dictate dates and times others can run their businesses.  You are not getting off to a very good start in the community.  I would suggest you check your attitude and apologize to the folks you have harmed.

To the person writing this original complaint.  I once again challenge you, if you feel you have truly been maligned then state who you are otherwise your complaint seems baseless.  You have tried to discredit people undeservedly.  Your demands that they change their business practices to suit yours makes you sound petty and small.  PETTY and SMALL.  

I'm sorry you found the comment I made about Steve using office space inside the Community Action Center offensive; however I was simply stating facts about the location of the office he had setup at the time he approached my business about advertising with his "Taste of Tampa Bay" magazine. I made no disparaging comments about the Comminity Action Center, as I am told they do wonderful things for the community and no one from that group ever got involved in this transaction which I am referencing. 

As for personal attacks, again, I was simply stating what transpired. It's been over a month since $1500 changed hands from mine to Steve's and I have yet to see a published copy of the magazine, a list of locations it's been distributed to, or a media kit outlining how many copies of this magazine went out- all of which is information that has always been given to me with other advertising I have done and in less time.

With regard to the complaint about Mr Fiske, I have no personal knowledge.  I do however have knowledge of the organization the Conservative Action Committee.  I was a founding member of the Conservative Action Committee and am currently a volunteer.  I find the personal character assault on this organization offensive. I do not know who wrote this complaint, and I do find it interesting that you did not have the courage to mention your name. In the future please remember to place blame correctly.  Also, when you attack people without giving them the opportunity to respond it only serves to make you look small and petty.

 This cowardly woman, (notice she didn't leave her name or the name of her business?)  made numerous false statements and they will no doubt be the basis for a slandor suit. I will be meeting with my attorney shortly to properly address the situation that she has created. This woman opened a new business a few doors down from our chamber of commerce office. My first knowledge of her business a "sit and sip" business was when her husband came into the office and told the nice folks who manage another non-profit organization that they should move their non-profit community events to another evening because he wanted the parking for his wife's business. This is a community service business that has been in the building for several years.   This woman signed a contract for an article and the  front cover position of my new magazine.  We were on a tight deadline when we met so she paid me when she signed the agreement and I cashed her check so that we could get started in order to get her in on time. I then paid for a photo shoot at her retail location, wrote a full page article, which she edited and I changed according to her requests, had the article laid out and she proofed it, then I had my designer create a beautifully designed page for her article and the front cover. She knew that we would be doing all of this work to promote her business. She knew that I had already invested in a professional photographer, editorial and graphic designer.

 She claims that she tried to call me and I was not returning her calls,another lie,  the only call that I have from her or her husband was on a Saturday night at which time I had my phone off. By the time that I was aware that she was trying to reach me was on Monday morning and  she had already started making  her public lies and spreading slanderous remarks. She is like a bull in a china shop and has no regard for her business neighbors or for honoring agreements.

She did convey to me that she talked to one of my competitors, which I believe is what  started her buyers remorse and outragious behavior. I told her, when she asked to cancel the agreement that the newspaper was already in production, which it was and I would l be sending a copy to her as well as 50 or so locations where one can find them. She will get that list shortly after the Thanksgiving holiday.  I will also be sendng one to her franchisor, as well as to her landlord. I told her that,"I couldn't take her off of the front cover even if I wanted to" and I DID WANT TO!

In respect to her "eviction" comment, that is another  lie and it will be dealt with through my lawyer. There has been no eviction, there couldn't be. She knows that I was not even a tenant in the office complex that she claims I was "evicted" from. As a volunteer, I am in the chamber office 10-20 hours a week to give my time to the non-profit organization.  I was never a tenant, never had a lease, rental agreement, etc., so I don't know why she would make something like that up.  This woman has demonstrated that she will say anything to hurt people to try to get her way and if she doesn't watch out! This is one sick vindictive lady. She has tried to embarrass me, compromise me, hurt me, etc. Her melt down is so much like a spoiled child whose has used this website for her rants and raves to get attention.

Most people in business have conflicts over a period of time, this one was of her creation. It could have been handled so much easier, IF SHE had any patience and honor herself.  Stay tuned, this one will be going to the lawyers.

It's a shame that anyone may post anything here without proof to try to hurt people. Look for comments from her landlord and the nice folks who are her business neighbors.  Sorry for any typos, but it is tough proof reading when so upset at trying to tell the other side of the story when dealing with such nonsense. Shame on you Jennifer!
