STEVE ZARELLI CHARLTON HESTON ARTICLE : JUST PROVES AUTOGRAPH COLLECTORS LACK INTELLIGENCE BALLSTON New York

My Name is Emeritis Clarke . I am a relative of Charlton Heston.  His name has thirteen letters and Mr. Zarelli's story only focuses on one letter, the letter "r". When he wrote fast his "r" became elongated  and resembled an "l" . I can assure you that Charlton Heston Never used a secretary to sign autographs for him. 

If you do  a google search of Steven Zarelli, you will find that he has made some mighty large errors with his assessment of the autographs of astronauts. You will also see that he is employed by RR Auction. RR Auction has been sued for selling music autographs that lack authenticity based upon a PSA DNA opinion.

Mr Zarelli before you publish information abot a person, living or dead, famous or unkown, make certain that the information you write is true

I find it interesting that Steve Zarelli's opinions are frequently REJECTED BY PSA and yet he claims, on his web site , that he authenticates for PSA.  Ha Ha !!!  What a joke !!!

Zarelli is best known by his munchkins for writing THE FLAG TEST which is a re-write of a similar article written one year prior. A small grouping of forged Neil Armstrong autographs were sold by a dealer in CALIFORNIA by mistake and that dealer made good on these by asking his customers to return the items for a full refund. It was at this time, that Zarelli re-wrote a paragraph written by another author one year prior. Zarelli's article was entitled THE FLAG TEST . After this article, for reasons that I will never understand, Zarelli was eroniously credied with resolving the ARMSTRONG forgeries even though, at the time Zarelli wrote his wonderful and inspiring article, the forgery matter had already been resolved and the Dealer in California had already refunded monies to all his customers. Zarelli had nothing at all to do with that issue. Zarelli did not break a forgery ring, even though he is credited for doing so.

Zarelli wrote a second article about Heston using a secretary. I have seen enough "In Person" examples of Heston's signature that I can, without any doubt in my mind, dismiss Zarelli's article and label it as fiction. I contend that Zarelli was seeking to , once again, gain  attention from his little munchkins . The article condends that Heston employed a secretary, but the truth is that this article was designed more for self promotion than truth. Truth it lacks, based on my expert opinion, and BS it contains based upon fact. It is my opinion that Zarelli's Heston Article is reaching for something that is not really there and never was there. The stupid munchkins believe this because they are indeed stupid munchkins.

Charlton Heston did a book signing at Vroman's Bookstore located on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena California many years back. THE ACTORS LIFE he signed my book and inscribed it to "Morris" and he signed it. His signature had both the R and the L in Charlton looking the same. AKA Challton" so if his R and L look alike then I can assure you that he did sign his name in that fashion, at least for me he did. Why someone who never met Charlton Heston would question people did meet him and try to claim their were signed by a secretary and Mr. Heston is a mystery to me. This person could just be jealous becouse he has never met Charlton Heston. He was a man's man, best guy in the world and very much down to earth. Meeting Charlton Hest was a great pleasure and a great honor.

I too strongly disagree with the article written by Steve zarelli. It is my opinion, his article was not well thought out and apparently written with great haste and,in my opinion, he failed to research his hypothosis and support his theory,which in my opinion is nonesense.

I too, recieved books signed by Charlton Heston. These book signings took place at various book stores throughout the California area. The books were signed by Chuck,in person. The signatures vary and some of these "IN PERSON" signatures do look like "CHALLTON" instead of "CHARLTON" just like Mr Zarelli states in his article. Some of the signatures also look very much like " CHARRTON" instead of "CHARLTON" , but no-one evers signs his/her name exactly the same way twice.

It is further my own opinion, that Mr Zarelli's article was irresponsble and lacking in any type of reallity,though, or evidence.  I have no doubt that Mr Zarelli believes what he wrote to be true, but, in my opinion he is way off and people reading his article are going to get the wrong idea. Again, my opinion, based on my own experience, this that I strongly disagree with the views represented in the article that mr Zarrelli wrote about Charlton Heston, signing habbits, and alledged use of secretary which,in my opinion, is simple not applicable . I do not think that Zarrelli supported his opinions very well and it is my opinion that his articles has a few holes in it which does not hold much water. Again, this is my own opinion.

 I work and live in Houston TX . I have heard about "AUTOGRAPH COLLECTORS" in the context that these are usually lazy people with no real lives, no claim to fame and live their nothing lives through people that have done something important. The autograph is a psycological  piece in that ,in the mind of a an autograph hound, places them on the same line as the famous person.

Zarelli's only claim to fame is that he has been placed on a pedestal by his fellow wanabees .  I can't say where I work, I am NOT an astronaut , but I can tell you that astronauts have a certain DISTAIN for people like Zarelli. Did you ever wonder why Neil Armstrong stopped signing autographs ?  I have a real bombshell for you, Neil Armstrong employed a secretary to sign index cards through the mail from 1988-1994 and I bet your hero, Zarelli , was never aware of that one.

I can't comment on Chuck Heston , but I actually had dinner with Chuck. I did not ask him to sign anything because ,unlike you autograph collectors, I have a real life.

I googled Mr. Zarelli , and his only claim in life is collecting autographs. Autographs of people that did something in life. Autographs of people that matter. Mr. Zarelli does not seem to have any career , unless it is a secret. The only thing that I can find on him is that he collects scraps of paper that self confident, hardworking people, wrote their names on.

The thing I find interesting about autograph collecting is there is never any biographic information exchanged on any autograph forums. The only things that I see are pen wars . Autograph sellers disparaging other sellers on various sites seems commonplace in Autogaph collecting forums online.
