I was scammed by Steven Berez as an investor for the Freaky Deaky movie.  Steven told me that there was no way that Charlie Matthau, son of the reputable Walter Matthau would ever let investors in his movie lose money.  He said he was sure he would reimburse me himself first.  If other postings are correct, it sounds like Charlie walked away with money.  It was my understanding that investors got paid first.

Other promises were big stars for the movie and a red carpet theater release.  In actuality, the release was more like a whisper and well kept secret.

Even as late as the fall of 2013, after the movie was out, they were still calling me with a so-called apology opportunity, saying that Charlie felt so bad about how long it has taken to get the movie out there, he would match any additional investment 100%.  So, it was like a guaranteed 50% return.  I would ask how the movie was doing and they would say it is making money and we should start seeing checks that will make us very happy within the next month.  At least I did not fall for that one.

The movie has been out for well over a year.  There must have been some money going somewhere.  As an investor I have not seen a dime.  Now I cannot raise anybody on the phone and they have a password protected site that I am unable to log into.

Steve, I am now raising my grandchildren, so essentially you stole $25,000 from two year old twins.  Properly invested, that would have been enough for private college educations for the both of them.  In fact, left in the stock market that already would have been more than $50,000.  You are scum and a scoundrel, but I assume you already know that. 

I do not know how this complaint thing works.  I have not yet seen if there will be a way for people to contact me.  If someone can contact me about any legal action possibilities or charges, I would welcome it.  That goes especially for execproducerg.

Also, I welcome any contact from Charlie, otherwise my next post will be about you.  I would not have considered an investment were it not for the substantial respect I always had for your Dad.
