I started work for Advantage Network on June 13, 2008. When I talked to Steve Taylor, who said he was a manager but is actually the owner of these companies, he said my first pay date was to be June 27, 2008. By July 1, I still had not received a check. I was unable to get an answer until July 3, at which time Steven L. Taylor told me he would look into it and email me that night. I never heard anything back.

On July 7 I talked to Steve again and he said that the check had been sent to the wrong address and returned to them. He told me that he had resent the check on July 3rd, but that it may not have went out until that morning because of the Holiday and that the office was closed that Sat.

I continued to call and send email when I didn't get a check, On July 14, Steve emailed me this reply "Wow. I can imagine your frustration. Let me figure out the amount, and I can place a stop payment on the other check and reissue a new check to the new address. Is that what you would like us to do?
I have no idea why you wouldn't have gotten in. That's crazy, but let's get this resolved one way or another.
I will email you later this evening if I am able.
Christine is not here, and several closers called off. None of this is relevant, but I'm just expressing how busy I am. I didn't want you to think I'm avoiding you."

And still I have received nothing. My power will be off in few days and I have two kids to support. I just want the money I spent my time working for.

Steve Taylor is a lying con artist

AUTHOR: Insideinformation - (U.S.A.)

Wow Steve I knew you were a low down dirty scumbag but I didn't think you would take advantage of a single mother.  Steve Tayor spouts the same line of BS everytime.  The scam company he was running when he posted this rebuttal did shut down and I have never received my last two checks either.

How do I reply?

AUTHOR: Donald - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, January 23, 2009

I searched my email for certain phrases and did not come across any of this. All that 'run around' seems ridiculous and we would not be in business if this was an occurrence within the company. There is clearly a miscommunication and I can be sure the quotes above was not my reply.

I encourage this supposed former employee to contact us. Unfortunately we have not had a "Melissa' working for us in 2 years and 9 months from the date this rebuttal is being posted. Furthermore anyone with a concern, please contact me.

- Steve Taylor
