Stillman Law Office Somethings Not Right here! West Bloomfield, , Michigan

In December, Stillman contacted me via a court date over a credit card that had been wrote off, and sold a few times; and had passed the statute of limitations( Michigan's is 6 years)  At court in Janurary, we set an April  "Discovery" date/deadline which allowed us both time to figure things out, followed by a May conference date  to meet at court and discuss the "whats", and another appearance date in June in front of the Judge again if things were not settled. Stillman sent me a large envelope in Feb. with copies of account activity, followed by another with "twenty" questions of "why or why-nots" in March, with a paper threatening to turn in over to a Lawyer!? I thought Stillman was the lawyer; according to their letter head. Today, I decided to call them to see what they wanted to negotiate. Their amount owed, again, was a different amount than stated on the paperwork. I needed to send the money immediately via next day, I would have to contact the credit companies to update my info they said,  and they gave me their "new" address of Farmington hills,MI. to send the monies to.  Luckily I didn't make it to the bank, and got the mail first, another large envelope from Stillman, with the West Bloomfield address still; with papers showing Our Districts Judge's name all over them and  listing a judgement granted in their favor in yet another amount!  And a different court date and time different than the other dates set by Gaylord's District court !?!?? None of these papers had signatures!!!  How could there be a judgement made if we have not went to court yet on the dates already set by the Judge at our last appearance?? Do they think we are all stupid??  These people use scare tactics, and a bunch of mumbo-jumbo paperwork to confuse and intimidate the average person.  It should be illegal for them to use the courts/Judges names on their paperwork, attempting to make it look like it came from our courts..to me that is like impersonating an officer or falsifying any other documents. READ YOUR PAPERWORK CAREFULLY, KNOW THE LAWS IN YOUR STATE AND KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!!
