48 Hour Health Guarantee:
This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of delivery. A document from our veterinarian stating the puppy is in good health is attached. For the protection of the purchaser and seller, the puppy should be examined by a licensed veterinarian. If the puppy is declared in unacceptable health by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours (unless this falls on a weekend or Monday is a holiday) of the purchase/shipping date, he/she should issue a written statement of diagnosis, including a detailed description of all symptoms supporting that diagnosis, results of any tests performed, and the reason why he/she feels the dog is a poor health risk, must be presented at the time the dog is returned. The puppy must be returned to us within 72 hours of purchasing date. If the Buyer does not take the dog to a veterinarian within 48 hours from the date of purchase, this warranty becomes null and void. The puppy needs to be returned to the breeder (at the buyer's expense) for a replacement puppy, provided that the puppy has not been injured or neglected.
As of the date of delivery, the puppy has received proper vaccinations and de-worming.

2.) Choice of puppy is determined on a first come (deposit received) first to choose basis.
3.) Puppy must be picked out on the day and time Debbie Piva tells you so the next pick in line can pick their pup out. If you can't make it we will pick your puppy for you.
4.) Puppy needs to be pick up on the 49th day from birth. A fee of $10.00 for each day after this date will be charged.
5.) Any money put down for dog/puppy is NON REFUNDABLE, unless a puppy is not available. If you decide you don't want the puppy, you forfeit your Deposit.
6.) All shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility. Buyer should be aware that weather and holidays may make it difficult to ship on time. Cost for shipping is around $300.00 this includes crate, airfare, health Cerf, travel to airport.

Puppy Contract

Thank you for purchasing a puppy from us. We have done our best to provide a healthy, happy and social puppy for you.

For this health guarantee to be valid, you (the buyer) must take the puppy received to your veterinarian within 3 (three) days of receiving puppy for a health exam, at your expense. A copy of this veterinarian visit must be sent back to us (the breeder) for this contract/guarantee to be valid.

If within 5 years you would happen to lose your puppy, seller will request an autopsy be performed at the buyer's expense to determine cause of death. If cause of death is found to be due to congenital defect seller will replace the puppy as soon as a puppy of equal quality is available. If the buyer chooses a puppy of greater value the buyer must pay the difference. No cash refund. Buyer is responsible for the transport costs of replacement puppy. Buyer must return the registration papers before the replacement puppy is shipped. Only when the life of your puppy is threatened by a congenital defect of the heart or eyes will we be held liable for a replacement. We (Country Inn Kennels) are not responsible for any vet bills that may occur during the life of your puppy through adulthood.

The buyer agrees to provide annual vet exams, including heartworm checks and preventatives, clean teeth as needed, (infection in the mouth may lead to MVD) and to keep all vaccinations currant according to the A.V.M.A. Failure to comply with and provide documentation of these requirements voids all guarantees.
The dog is sold on a Spay/Neuter agreement and must comply within 6 months of the date of birth or all guarantees will be void.

Your puppy needs to be picked up on the day Country Inn Kennels tells you he/she is ready or there is a fee of $15.00 for each day after this date will be charged,

We are not responsible for parasites such as coccidiosis, giardia, or other parasite puppies commonly carry. Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully, and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the state of Minnesota and the county of Wabasha. It is agreed that the place of venue shall be in Wabasha County, Minnesota. We do our best to send you the best quality puppy and we take pride in doing so.

Buyer also agrees, that if for any reason in the lifetime of the said puppy\dog, if they can no longer keep in their possesion the said puppy\dog, that they will relinquish ownership back to Seller, Debra Piva (Country Inn Kennels). Under no Circumstances is Buyer to release puppy\dog to any Rescue Group, Shelter, or any other type of facility for re-homing. Buyer is to Contact Debra Piva immediately and arrange for puppy\dog to be released back to Seller, where it will always have a home, where puppy\dog came from.

The puppy in question was never ill or sick in any way ... she was small and I was concerned about her wanting me to drive her to a dog show in Chicago for delivery. Everyone who has any dog knowledge should know better than to take an 8 wk old pup that has only had one vac. into that environment. I told her of my concerns and that I would take her to my Vet and ask what he thought. He agreed with me that was not in the best interest of the puppy. I called Debra and told here the Vet thought she was to small to go and I asked her if she wanted to let her grow a little and we would check her weight in two wks.She said Yes let's do that.
She was 2 and1/4 pounds .At that time she said she did not want her she changed her mind and said she would not be breeding or show material. At that point, I was just glad she was not taking the pup. I told her I would send back here deposit only because I in did not want her to pick out another pup! During this whole time, she called me and went on a French Bulldog shopping spree she bought two adult females and a male that she told me a crazy story about it dieing on the plane and she was scammed.
I sent her an email about are Bank selling and we went to a new one (Associated Bank sold to Morton Community) This can all be verified by the banks. I gave her my check order number that she so generously posted on this sight. She said she did not want to wait she wanted a bank check or money order so when I came home from Iowa I sent a money order with the USP .I was in Iowa for a friend's funeral here is the link to the obit.

The next thing I am getting e-mail's from this website and a letter from the BBB and she is asking for a $400.00 deposit back! Who is scamming who!!! The BBB CASE NUMBER IS 19011389 .She never sent me $400.00 my DEPOSIT IS $250.00 she sent me a check in that amount only.

My postmaster told me that there is a 90-day trace for the money order and if I send her, a new one and the other shows up she can cash them. So when the trace or hold time is up they will give me my money back or a new money order.

The Pup was sold to a great couple who love her, Fannie May is her name and the Waughop family has provided a letter to the BBB on the condition of Fannie.

In addition, My Vet has submitted a letter to the BBB about Fannie as well as her litter.

Moral of the story if I used Debra Pivas contracts and had the lack of compassion she has there would be no dispute ... just a simple your out of luck!
