Stoneberry Failed to Honor Pre-Approved Credit Limit Monroe, Wisconsin

Stoneberry sent a catalog stating I was "Pre-Approved" but they didn't specify a credit limit so I placed a small order of $65 plus shipping. They send me a letter in the mail a week later saying that they want a 25% down payment before they can process the order. Are you kidding me??? What happened to pre-approved? So I told them to cancel the order and my account. I will not be doing business with this company now or in the future. Also if you look at the catalog or website you'll see that most of their products are insanely overpriced. for example they are selling a Playstation 3 160gb system for $430. You can get the same system anywhere else like Walmart, etc. for $250! That's $180 profit they are charging you for! SCAM!!

If you would have read CORRECTLY, IT WOULD HAVE STATED: Pre-Approved limit UP TO a certain amount...

Do you not get what "UP TO " means? It doesnt mean you are given lets say 400.00 to use for credit and your IGNORANT to think that a company would just give random people credit.. Every order is subject to credit approval.. Wen you order from the catalog, the catalog has an ID number in which has the amount you were "Pre Approved UP TO.." for and then your credit is ran AFTER YOU, THE CUSTOMER, GIVE US YOUR INFORMATION! We dont magically have you ss# on file we dont magically have your credit history reports...ITS YOUR CHOICE TO ORDER ITS OUR POLICY AND RIGHTS AS A BUSINESS TO DENY SERVICES TO ANYONE WE SEE FIT! IF YOU DONT LIKE THAT THEN SHOP LOCALLY!

As for the prices of the merchandise you didnt like, the reason they are so high is your paying s&h, the stocking fee, and the vendor fees to keep the item.. YET ANOTHERRRR reason to SHOP LOCALLY! OF COURSEEEE your gonna pay less at walmart or anywhere else.. your paying for the "CONVENIENCE" of shopping at home and not leaving so yea your gonna pay more... thank you
