STONELEIGH RECOVERY ASSOC'S LLC RUDE, INSULTING & UNPROFESSIONAL LOMBARD, Illinois

I contacted Stoneleigh Recovery Assoc's in regards to a debt I owe.   I was calling to confirm the total, if I could make a partial payment and if the original biller would be notified that I was making payments to reconcile the account.  

I was told that they would not accept the amount I was offering, that they knew I could pay it in full.   I was screamed at, told not to play the victim, that I shouldn't be calling them to make arrangements if "I don't have money and if I am not going to get a job".   They told me that I cannot bully them into getting it my way, that I will pay what they say or to not bother and it will go on my credit history as an unpaid debt.  

When I asked to speak to a manager I was given the same speel and treatment by the manager.   I asked to speak to his boss and was told he would not waste his time with someone like me and then was hung up on.   I called back immediately and asked for the owner / president and was told his name, but that he does not deal with calls.  

I feel the way I was treat was humiliating and unprofessional.   I do not deny having a debt with them, I was simply making an attempt to set up a payment agreement.
