Straight Talk purchased defective phone but Straight Talk will not honor money back guarantee Internet
I purchased a new Samsung SGH-S425G cell phone from Straight Talk. It intermittently will not answer incoming calls. I have called Straight Talk support 8 times to report this and each time they make me remove the battery and sim card. This does allow the phone to receive incoming calls for a short time so support says the problem is fixed and there is nothing more they can do. The problem is I have no warning that my phone is not taking incoming calls so I need a replacement phone that works all the time.
Straight Talk gives a one year warranty on these phones and mine is only 4 months old. I have tried to talk to someone further up the Straight Talk food chain but to no avail. Every time I am at a dead end as soon as support can make a call to my phone and it's "fixed". But it doesn't stay "fixed" for long. This is very frustrating. Anyone have any suggestions for getting this company to honor their warranty?
