straighttalk tracphone Defective Phones, Poor Customer Service, Does not Stand behind product, lineville, Alabama

I purchased two Samsung Proclaim Android Cell phones, at Walmart on Dec 28th 2012 one of them was a gift, we had a hard time getting the phones to activate, had to call in multiple times to get someone that could understand English as a language.  Realized early on that one of the phones was defective and the other one had hardware problems.  Returned to Walmart on the 11th day after purchase and was told that you only have 10 days to return a defective phone.  (Really) I pay $165 for a phone and it only has a 10 day return period, is that even legal?  Next, we call into (customer service) Huge joke here...

  Later we learn on the 15th day after we purchased it while visiting another walmart in a different location that we actually had 14 days to return the defective phone, So, the walmart person lied to us, (or the politically correct version, (they were not well informed) either way I have a $165 dollar piece of junk, called in again and find that they do not really stand behind their products, here is how it works, you send in the phone to them, (at your own expense,) they look at it, and (decide if it is covered under warranty) wonder how that would turn out, next IF they decide that it is covered, you will receive at their choice a re-manufactured unit or a unit that has been repaired using used parts, (yes you read correctly) used parts, so I pay full price for a defective phone and the only warranty that I get is that Used parts will be used to repair a phone and it will be returned to me or that a refurbished phone will be returned to me.

So, I pay for a new phone, Get a defective phone, and end up with a used phone, I should have signed up for a regular cell phone contract at least if something goes wrong I can go to a building, speak to someone in English and get the problem solved.

Oh one last thing, while your waiting for service and to get a used phone mailed back to you, 2 to 8 weeks later, guess what happens, you still pay for service and you dont have service, Amazing stuff folks, Walmart Wow, Why does Walmart allow its customers to get treated this way its So, Wrong.
