I purchased a concert ticket from StubHub on 4/1015. I drove over 4 hours to concert incurring over $250 in expeenses (hotel and gas). When I arrived at concert there was a sign posted on door stating the concert was cancelled. The sign said to contact seller for a FULL REFUND. I immediately contacted StubHub. They didn't even know concert was cancelled. Upon further communication with StubHub, I was informed that I would not get a refund for the tickets.

StubHub said that the concert was rescheduled for 8/21/15. I am not going in August. I am unable to attend at that time not should I  have to attend then. How dare StubHub.com steal my money. StubHub will get their cost back since they purchased the tickets themselves from another vendor... I advise anyone who has had a similar experience with StubHub to write to the BBB, the Federal Trade Commision, and any online consumer report sites. If enough people complain, StubHub will have to be accountable for their immoral and illegal actions.

When you purchase your tickets, you have to specifically agree to the terms, which include "StubHub is not responsible for venue, date or time changes."  This is a date change.  They are NOT getting their money back for your ticket.  Even if the show is canceled, that's not how it works.  Perhaps you should know a little more about what you agreed to before you go spouting off incorrect information.

If a show is rescheduled, your tickets are good for the following performance.  If you can't attend, YOU own the tickets (StubHub never owned them) and can relist them for someone else to purchase.  If they are not sold, that's unfortunate, but they are yours to give away or sell somewhere else, if possible.

If a show is canceled completely, you will automatically get a refund once StubHub has confirmed that information from the venue.  StubHub is NOT getting their money back from the venue.  You get a refund, the seller has to pay the money they received back.  THAT is how it works.

STUBHUB DOES NOT PURCHASE TICKETS.  They are a secondary market, similar to ebay, where sellers list what they have.  You purchase the tickets, the money is escrowed until you receive them FROM THE SELLER. Get your facts straight.
