Submitnet - Submitnet.com online ripoff, lied about refund, stole money from my bank account, ignored my request for explanation of why they took money out of my account Portland Oregon

In August 2004 I signed up with an online company called Submitnet Inc. They claim to help promote your webite online, for a fee. However, they know it takes months to get your website to the level they promise. So they offer a 90 day, complete refund, if not satisfied with the results.

Once I realized I was not going to be able to accomplish my orignal project (a website), I discontinued the use of Submitnets service. Yet they continued to bill $47.00, every ninety days (90 days).

Since I discontinued the service and they should have stopped billing me for it, I did not catch the first time it went through my account. (I should have been more aware, but that is what they do - they sneak it through quietly, and if you do not catch them, they continue to do it until you do catch them.).

Anyway, after a year of doing everything possible to get them to refund the money they had taken from my account, three different times, I finally just gave up and wrote it off. They ended up with almost $150.00 from me, for a service I never used, or EVEN WANTED! They did stop billing me, only after I called them several days in a row, and spent literally hours on the line (getting passed around) with them.

Stay away from them!! Do not sign up with them! YOU WILL BE SORRY. They do not even do what they promise, and when you try and follow the steps to get a refund, they work against you until they wear you down and give up. It is almost like it is part of their business plan. They were the rudest and most ofensive company I have EVER worked with.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED... STAY COMPLETELY AWAY FROM Submitnet.
