Why would you use Subway to promote your daughers trip?

This is in response to the manager who slyly admitted to using Subway to solicit funds for her daughters vacation. Ever heard of "conflict of interest'? What you did by soliciting money was irresponsible and unprofessional. The folks donating probably did not realize they were giving money to someone with 2 cars and who own their own home. You made a mockery out of charitable causes simply because you were too cheap to pay for it yourself. Based on this alone, you are a lousy manager. I hope you do the right thing and apologize to your patrons and Subway. You should not be employed as a Manager anywhere. I will be reporting you to Subway corporate and I do hope they get rid of you.

What was left out... they fake the temperture charts, the "assitant manager" does not wash her hands or use gloves the majority of the time while on prep, one of the things that the manager told me out of her mouth "When gloves run out take your gloves off 1 finger at a time, then put them down where the customer cannot see them and reuse them". she reuses meat trays from previous day if the trays are low, the "assistant manager" would light her cigerette on the toaster oven and after enjoying her smoke she comes back and doesn't wash her hands then puts back on her reused gloves. The original author of this report is 100% true , she shows favortism to her Mom and the "assistant manager". When the soap for the dishes gets low she undoes the hose and makes you use the sanitizer only. The manager does not take the time to properly train the employees she puts that task of training on the other employees whoever they may be at the time and then when you do something the way you were trained she takes it out on you and fires you with no reason, she is rude and disrespectful towards employees, she comes to work as a MANAGER of a resturant wearing short shorts and flip flops, the "tip jar" is still there. I ate there 1 time on my break a tuna sub and spent the night in the bathroom and then never ate there again. When you order the "light" Mayo you are actually getting regular mayo.... ummmmm let me think I know there is more... everything I have said is sworn truth and I would have no problem testifying on this behalf. I never saw the owners or even spoke to them so who knows if they even know this is going on in their business.

No food handlers permit in Florida?

YUK! I will never eat in Florida. The OP said it's "just fast food" and that is different how? In many states any open container or exposed food handled by other than the consumer requires a permit.

I am the manager of this store and although some of the complaints are true the majority of them are not. This was an employee that was released of duties and was really bitter for that reason. Some things in food you really have to maintain sometimes we do get a little mold on ice cause of condensation,it is something hard to maintain and he obviously did not clean the ice machine on his shift for that to happen. We do not clean restrooms with cloths we use disposable for that, that is what they are trained to do. We all eat here so i assure you we do not use food off floor, this is one of the freshest ,friendliest subway you will ever encounter. I do not steal from the store,me and my husband own our house outright and drive new vehicles, weve been on our jobs for several years. he is safety installer for osha and i manager. We did collect $ for a mission trip for my daughter she went with AIMS OUTREACH to phoenix FINE ART FESTIVAL with harvest assembly of God where they walked on the streets carrying a oversize cross spreading the gospel and performed at festival (thank you to all who supported) No place is perfect i assure you ,however we do strive to be sanitary. the employees here have been here for at least 3 years they know the rules and for the most abide by them, it is only when you get that one who does not like the owner or the manager, who does not know the value of a job, that will complain and try to cause problem, no one can work with and tries to take shortcuts instead of doing job right AND has the nerve to make stuff up to make us look bad. We have health dept inspections RANDOMLY and the reports are public records. Feel free to tour our store anytime, we have 0 to hide. we appreciate your business.

Actually I've worked with numerous people who thought about contacting the health department because of her. Its the manager its not the employees. I didn't say every piece of ice had mold on it. You would see a piece here and there that would have some mold on it. At first I thought it was some dirt or something on the ice when I would see it until I looked up in the ice machine where the ice drops and it is covered in mold. People wouldn't think it was mold by first glance but probably some dirt or something. The paper is 100% true too, I got screamed at for almost throwing a piece of paper away that was on the floor for about an hour. No it didn't have footprints on it, but it was on a dirty floor. This boss is the boss from hell. She doesn't care about customers, she only cares about herself. The owner probably doesn't care neither, because she is saving him money. And I did think about contacting the health department, but I highly doubt it is as easy as it seems. It probably doesn't take just a phone call and then they're out there ready to shut the restaraunt down. The only way they would know about stuff like the paper, the gloves, etc... is if they were to watch the cameras. She is not gonna do that in front of an inspector. I've even got bread out for customers and the customers would be like "OMG what is that" and it looks like dirt on the bread from falling on the floor, and they would be 100% true. Im not trying to make anyone believe my story, but just to inform people that may want to know. And you can make a store look clean but its not. Yea the lobby and line look fine, but they dont drop stuff in front of customers and let them know they are gonna use it anyways. And all this stuff I said isn't on a daily basis, but if something does get dropped, best believe it will not be wasted, thats all I'm saying.

Let's see. You worked in a Fast Food Restaurant that you would know is inspected by the Health Department. Even though you figured out how to post a Ripoff report, you have no idea how to find out how to contact them? In fact it doesn't even seem like you thought about reporting it until someone mentioned it to you.
You then say it "looks" clean and no customer would ever know. But what you describe would be things that a customer would know. Such as having footprints on their sandwich wrapper, dirt on their bread from being on the floor, mold on their ice cubes. Yet no customers ever reported them either? What about the other 50 employees who are no longer there. Why are you are the only one shining the light on the truth?
I bet there is a lot more to this story.

May be in the government section at the beginning.
I remember way back when, I worked for a pizza hut where the manager had us slice up fresh veggies with the rotten instead of throwing them out.

First of all it is 100% true. I would not waste my time and write all of that for nothing. I'm not referring to all Subway's but that one is disgusting. You wouldn't think it if you were a customer but I've witnessed some nasty crap. I never worked for a place so disgusting. Shes just a very rude lady and that is why I felt the need to expose her. She treats her employees like dogs, people will work their butts off for her and she will still find something to complain about. She even will make stuff up just to have something to complain about. She doesn't want to waste anything from food to just a piece of paper. The less she cost the restaraunt the bigger her bonus. I wish I knew a way to contact the Health Department and have them investigate because I would love to see for that Subway to fail. But I wouldn't even know where to begin to do all that. If you know how to I would love it if you would share.

If any of this is true you should call places.
1. The Health Department
2. Subway corporate offices to see how they feel about their store managers soliciting for private donations. Last I heard there shouldn't be any tip jars sitting around either.
