There really was not a title to fit this scam, success advocates contact you after you have looked on the web for gov. grants, within a few minutes someone called me telling me they could get money for me to fix my home for me being disabled as I am, they wanted 2750.00 up front and were very convincing about the money being put back as soon as the research turned up some grants for me.  Like a fool I gave them my credit card info, however I started to get a bit suspecious as things went on, and checked my bank the card and money were on hold. I called the bank and told them not to let the charge go through, then called the company and cancelled the whole thing.  They were argumentive with me but said they would take care of it.  The person was Matt Holmes.  I called a few days later when I saw that the bank had honored the charge.  I again cancelled, I was told that I should have written the company via e-mail, but when I had asked Matt for an e-mail address he announced that they were making changes in the companies e-mail addresses. So I never did get any email address but called several times to speak to this Matt and he was of coarse never available to me,  everyone that I have spoken to sense says they have to investigate my case and will call me back, but they never do and they said they would refund my money in 30 days that was 30 days ago today which is april 5, 2011.  So they all are scamers in this company and  I hope no one else gets scammed by them.  I am a retired 75 year old women, and disabled I hope I can get my money back as I don't have the funds to pay the bank

Success Advocates Legit? Not YET!

AUTHOR: jody''s thursdays - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, January 30, 2012

I would like to add some advice to those looking into Success Advocates. They can help

if you have great credit score and have the time to follow up on the Leads they give. Like 40 hours a week. SA will give you 4 coaching session a month for about 10 to 30 minutes.  Most the leads however you can find elsewhere on the internet without SA help. One suggestion to SA, if you guys are legit, you don't have to rebuttal anything, you dont need to change you name every year, you don't have to decieve each person on the phone. Legit is Legit. From the way I have been treated so far you are not Legit. These guys prey on those of us that are up against the wall and have no place to go. Please be careful, if its to good to be true, it probably is a SCAM.

Just a short note on the few positive feed backs I've seen.I'm not going to say your comments are a bunch of bull, but your comments are sadly out weighed by the negative comments.Like I said in a previous post,I KNOW and BELIEVE the negative reports are true as I was a victim of these people.Call the BBB,they will tell you all about them.Or better yet check out Wealth Power Systems,My Funding Resources,or Success Advocates yourself and see what kind of grade the BBB gives them, straight F's across the board as of two days ago(they do get upgraded once in a while to a D-). The BBB has been in  business a lot longer than these people.I check on these guys almost daily hoping to find the IRS,Utah State Attorney General or someone listens and helps to right so many wrongs that have been done.

I have tried to obtain grants on my own 2 and half years. I purchased the Kevin Tru. book and that is how I was able to get the help I needed. Their is a pre-qualification process that I had to go through, based on need, not want.  True! that you could possibly get grants without having a company to assist you, However, the fact remains that if you are not an expert and do not know the ins and outs of the application process, it may prove difficult to be able to obtain grants on your own.  Thats how I understood this process and not to mention, I was not scammed. maybe the people who have not received grants never really followed the process.   I just wonder how I was able to receive the help and the other people posting on here was unable to and now is crying Scam!?  I think people are miss leading themselves and do not have the brains enough to follow procedure and follow through with the mentoring program because life seems to get to busy, or maybe it is true that the people posting on here are the ex employee's that were termed for unethical practices. A company that has been in business for as long as they have would have  been shut down by now if they were scamming people. I'M sure they are regulated.

"I often wonder how it is that a company who has been in business this long has so many people writing such negative things?"

Maybe because getting a government grant is not as easy as paying someone thousands of dollars and then collecting a big payday.    In fact,  the idea that the government is just giving away free money to anyone who asks is just ludicrous.  But that's what companies like this would have you believe.  Sadly, there are enough gullible people to keep them in "business" for a long time to come.

I was contacted by a representative of a company Called Success Advocates today.  Because I had purchased Kevin Trudeau's book on Free Money who sold this company my information.  Thanks to the reports I found in Ripoff Reports I was able to avoid being sucked in by these scam artists.  Beware of how sly a wolf in sheeps clothing can be and don't do any business transaction with this company.

My goodness, I had to see it, to believe it!
I have used this company twice in one year! and at no time have they ever scammed me.

I often wonder how it is that a company who has been in business this long has so many people writing such negative things? I figured it out.... From what I gather, the person(people) who are posting the negative material  and bogus information is actually an ex-employee. That's right folks a disgruntled employee.

Has anyone set out to Google the own of rip off report?  I find it amusing.  The owner of "Rip Off" company is the scam!!!  Just like the BBB

If you are looking for grant funding, this company is awesome in its efforts! and accomplishments!!
