Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

I placed an order for an edible photo for my daughter's graduation. There were 2 photos that would be printed on one sheet and I was to e-mail the photos to the company. One was of my daughter at age 2 and the other was of her now. I did as they asked and instead of telling me that one of the photos I sent would not print up well, they printed it anyway and told me about it AFTER they shipped it.

When I recieved the edible photos I was very disappointed as both pictures were totally unusable. The small photo of my daughter at age 2 that I sent was just a blur of a mess and the larger photo of my daughter at present age that I sent, my daughter's nose was completely BLUE!

When I inquired about this I was told that I should try and enlarge it on my own computer and the same thing would happen on my printer but when I did this, my picture came out a WHOLE lot better than theirs. I would have been more than satisfied with the other older picture but how am I supposed to put this on a cake when her nose is blue?

After asking her the same question twice I finally got a reply and I quote "It may appear blue. I didn't think so. I only printed what you sent. Sometimes
photos are't perfect in the first place. There is nothing I can do to alter it.
(I'm sure glad I didn't alter it in your case!)" end quote.

The person I talked to named DOLORES whom I believe is the owner of Sugarcraft, did not care that I was unhappy with my order, she never ever tried to help me or try to remedy the situation, nor did she ever ONCE apologize for any wrong doing. I cannot believe how arogant and obnoxious she is. She claims it was the picture I sent and she did nothing wrong.

I had that very same picture of my daughter printed on invitations, labels and a banner - all at different companies and not ONE of them shows her nose being blue.

I am now out $28.03 for something that I cannot even use. The photo was $19.00 and shipping was $9.03 and this person just doesn't give a d**n!

I came to this site to vent my frustrations and to warn other people - DO NOT buy anything from this woman or this company. How they can stay in business is simply amazing to me. I sure wish I came to this site BEFORE I ordered anything from her. You can bet I'll be here all the time before I buy anything else on-line!

I have decided that any further contact with this woman would be a total waste of my time and energy. I hope she remembers that what goes around comes around!

I'm really sorry that you had to go through this. I am reading your report because I am about to file one against sugarcraft too, the reason I'm responding to you is because Dolores's daughter has been calling me "mean" and "hateful" via email for almost a week now. You trusted at company to provide a service/product and got a less than satisfactory item/items and no course of action to make it right. The best part? When you point out how incredibly crazy the whole situation is they play the "victim" of your wrong doing. I truely can't believe this place, or these people.

I contacted the cake decorating organization called ICES regarding this woman Dolores and suggested they look into the unscrupulous behaviour of her company and also told them to check online with the BBB. This woman has 37 UNANSWERED complaints against her and her business holds an UNSATISFACTORY rating. I told them I can't imagine why they of all people would want to endorse this lady's business but I realize, she once held a major role in their organization. I'm assuming they probably are already calling me names. Perhaps if other people went to this ICES website and placed a complaint something could be done to stop her bad business practices.

Just to let others know, the last e-mail I sent her I told her this --- "Oh, I see now Dolores, it's my fault. It's my photo that was bad, the same exact photo that I sent to two places other than yours in which I ordered a banner from, invitations from Photo Trends and labels that I printed off of my own home printer of which NONE of them came back with blue
noses. Yes, I see your point. MY photo wasn't perfect, it's all MY fault, not yours. You didn't think her nose was blue, I see. I guess we both need glasses or a better ophthamologist. Apparently folks in Ohio see colors differently than folks here in Hawaii, because all the people here saw a blue nose on my kid when I showed them what you sent, but you didn't think her nose was blue, did you Dolores? Well, you believe whatever it is you want to believe and if this is your way of telling me to go to hell, then so be it. I'm sure you are quite pleased with your-self. How you can look at your reflection in your mirror everyday knowing the unscrupulous behaviour
you portray to your customers is your problem, not mine. I tried to make you an honest business woman or at least one with empathy but I received
Godzilla instead.

All I ever wanted from you Dolores, was an apology of some sort. You couldn't even do that. You are simply amazing and I am so blessed to have met someone of your caliber. Go forth and prosper Dolores, don't give a hoot on how you get people's money - just get it. Tell all your unhappy customers they're wrong and they can all kiss your grits, oh, sorry, you do that
anyway, pardon my stupidity.

May God bless you Dolores, and always remember, what goes around, comes around. I'm sure you're more than happy keeping my hard earned cash and
welcoming a newly graduating daughter to the REAL world.

Oh yes, and by the way just FYI, I have reported you and your so called company to a FEW places, just as at least 37 other unhappy customers have.

She e-mailed me back with these words and I quote "You sound pretty evil. Please don't try to email me anymore. Dolores at" end of quote.

Simply unbelievable! This woman takes my money, sends me an edible photo that can't be used, tells me to literally go take a hike and I'm the one that's evil! I am totally amazed. She would rather eat nails before she would ever apologize, or try to help remedy the situation. Unbelievable!!!!!!
