Bill Welsh assurred me he could build me a closet in one month tops. contract signed 27 Dec. 2016. work completed March 20, 2017. all kinds of excuses. Tracked in dirt and plaster on newly installed carpet all day. Had to demand he put down plastic to protect it. Dug footings and hit the sprinkler system severing all wires and main pvc lines. was w/o water all afternoon. was seen by numerous people and workers. denied damage . Cost to me to repair $3,200.00.Dumped large dumptruck of builders sand in back yard an spread it all around creating a cement like surface. told me i would have to pay him to cover it up with grass. Tried to install gutters with no dounspouts washing out the foundation and sloshing water under the eaves.Had to be torrn down and reinstalled Costt to me was $450.00. The whole crew was untrained and had to be told every single thing to do and not do. They were messy, leaving cigarrett butts and trash all over the area. painted the outside a weird purrple instead of the grey to match the rest of the house. He had to repaint it. This was a frustrating experience that never needed to happen if he was a decent, competent builder who had a degree of work ethics, or self pride in his work. I spoke to Bill about these problems and he flatly denied he cut the sprinkler and he brought in a few pallets of sod to cover the worse of the mess and stated he would come back and finish the gutters. This was in April and havent seen or heard from him since and really hope i never do
