We bought a vacation package in September 2012 with the assurance that tey would sell our existing time share and give us cash in hand to pay for the new property and have extra left over.  Not True. 

They cannot make any such guarantee and in the closing documents they cover this by saying they are not bound by any remarks or guarantees made by their sales staff. 

We filed a complaint with the Southwest Missouri Bettr Business Bureau but because the resort offered us a less costly package (every third year use instead of annual) the BBB considered it a good faith effort to settle and ruled in their favor. 

We have been fighting with them since to get out of the whole deal but no resolution as
yet.  They have sent us trhree contracts to sign and want them back ASAP.  They take a month in between to work on their end but want us to rush. 

I am going to sit on it for a while and see what develops.  I will not sign the contract the way it is and they don't want to make any ammendments to back up what their sales supervisor continues to tell me.
